God is Good, All the time!

Wow... I forgot I even had this blog... Been a few to say the least.. My life practically was on pause for a while there- when we moved into the house, needless to say it was COLD... We are talking Frigid.. Year round, day night, cold! After 3 surgeries and two more "pending" per my request Hubby finally agreed and we moved back "home" .... It was a hard decision for us as he had always wanted a house and thought it was what he truly wanted However with the old house came a lot of old problems... Too many to deal with in fact we really needed to rebuild as so much needed done, and the pain and suffering I was going through I literally didn't know how much more I could handle it was hard. Our move back has been a blessing in every way, my knees are now "stable" and I pray I get a few more years on them... But I am able to move here where at the house it was as if I was stiff and unable to get up and do anything. I still have pain-per weather normally but not days to weeks of not moving. And overall I think God brought me home to be with my Dad, we found out in June he had lung cancer then July was told he was in stage 4 and Hospice was brought in, and I cannot emphasize enough how important those few months were with him, it was hard Very hard but I would not trade one day that I had with him for anything. We had many laughs, prayers, hugs and really good talks and like I said I was truly blessed to spend that time with him, I was able to deal with it in a better way I believe knowing how he felt, about going home to Jesus, etc. I would not trade that for the world! But in addition to the hard times some have not been as bad, watching my girls grow up, Courtney already graduated, Tiffany is within months and both are God's girls. He is first in their life and they are spending all of their spare time with him. I am blessed. Oh and we are pastoring a church! Yeah! Brans Chapel FCM... It's an awesome little church that is slowly growing and teaching us so much too! Intact just my past birthday (October 30) fell on a Sunday and Chris did so great... We had an upcoming anniversary of believe it or not... 22 YEARS! On November 9th and he Surprised me with new wedding bands with little crosses on them-something we have always wanted! Christmas and Thanksgiving have been very hard with my Dad gone but I know he has been having the Ultimate Party in Heaven! No Cancer there! Woo.. No pain, no tumors, seizures, no hip/knee replacements... Oh what a day that will be! I just want to stress how blessed I am with such an amazing family... Oh we did add a new member to the family this year, a beautiful hopping Jack Russell Terrier by the name of AJ... He is the bested little buddy in the world, he protects the house ... If anyone or anything is stirring he lets us know. God is so good.

God is Good All the Time Category: Life
Well life is Awesome ... God is so good, This past Friday we took our youth at our church and got them season passes for Alabama Adventures we had a ton of fun, I would like to say everyone was great and we didn't have any problems but technically well we have some who need to learn how to act in public... but anyway overall it was great, a blessing. And today was a Great day, we started off our day by going to Camp Sonrise this week is the preteen camp but today (Monday) they had Brent Vernon back and he was great as always, when I got home I got a call from a guy at church who has been planning to connect my tanning bed and praise the Lord he came over and tonight was soooo great laying in my own tanning bed for the first time in 10 months So refreshing, after I came in me and the girls actually done a little bit of exercize - I walked on the treadmill 20 minutes used my ball for some exercize and did some weights, Courtney worked on the Gazelle for a while too, We had a good night and I so love having my tanning bed- it truly is beginning to feel like HOME.

Health Update
Okay for all of those out there who actually read my blog.... LOL I wanted to update you on the "problems" I have had lately, Okay first of all the ovarian cyst I went to the GYN for it, I didn't care for this particular GYN, first time I had seen her, but anyway she let me know that well once I go through a normal menstral cycle that it very possibly could get rid of it... ??? I don't have any idea how it works but she said continue on the meds I normally take for infammation and pain and it will help which I have had my doubts for example when I am practically bending over with pain! And the Carpal Tunnel, first of all I have not heard from the DR who ordered the tests- I am frustrated because the Dr's who came in when I had the tests both explained to me that mine is Very Severe and I need surgery ASAP, to make sure I talked to someone within the week, but yesterday I happen to be at my orthopedic doctor who done my hip surgeries and he talked to me about it He can do my surgery - does 3-4 a week and said he would set it up then if I wanted him to, but I explained to him that about a week ago I bought two of those splints that actually have 2 pieces of metal in them to make me not be able to turn my wrists downward at all, so I am wearing them at night and the last few nights I have not been waking up in the horrible pain I have been having and so he said it actually is possible for the Carpal Tunnel to subside or I guess get under control that if I wanted to try the splints a little longer he thought it was a great idea, and so I am very hopeful, keep me in your prayers, I know God can take care of all my problems and God is in control. But do keep me in your prayers tomorrow night I start my VBS, I am directing again this year... Cosmic City, I am praying for a good turnout and alot of help because this year Help is hard to come by I am still short one teacher, and up until a few hours ago I was taking the pictures, so it may be a week of this director Multitasking, but I know God will provide. God bless.

another test- ovarian cysts? Category: Life
Okay I am extremely anxious Nervous whatever u want to call it, at 1:30 today I have to have another test but this on is just an ultrasound.. I have been in pain for quite a few days now and my doctor thinks it is an ovarian cyst... I have to drink 32 ounces of water and NOT go to the bathroom... oh that sounds easy NOT, I am extrememely ready for this to be over with I mean drinking a whole lot of water and not going to the bathroom, a bit scary after the girl passed away trying to hold hers for a WII system that time, I am thinking she drank like gallons at a time though but you know it still dont make me feel any better. Between the hands and everything that has went on lately I feel like I am a wreck. I know God will get me through it he always does but everyone pray for me to not go crazy, I still haven't heard when I am going to have my surgery for the carpel tunnel, UHHH if it's not one thing its two, lol. God bless everyone.

I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME- I WILL B HAVING SURGERY!!!! Category: Life
Well for a few months now I have been having horrible trouble sleeping and just miserable with pain in my hands - and I recently went to my doctor and told him all about it and he said he was 100% sure it was Carpal Tunnel - that he just needed to know to what degree so we can start working on how to take care of it... I was blown away from the thought of having it but eager when he referred me to a specialist where I would be taking tests to find out more about it - 1st of all he told me the tests aren't very bad- he had had them done and all they do is send SHOCKS in my hand and arm maybe... OK I was a little concerned but thought ok the pain I go through is much worse than any shocks, HELLO- -I get there ofcourse wondering what is going to happen Yes there were SHOCKS UHHH they hurt (aka Nerve Conduction Study) - it was weird seeing it happen and feeling it - my hand kept jumping, but then and they warned me when I asked they told me they were going to be putting a small needle in the bad areas (aka- Needle EMG Test) and sure enough he put it right in the worst part of my hand - on the thumb kind of and that pain is just unexplanable but OMGoodness it was horrible - he had to literally dig around with the needle in the muscles to see which ones were "affected". Well I am proud to say I survived this and found out that my carpal tunnel is VERY severe to the point they said if I did not have the surgery soon I would loose my feeling and my hands would go limp and be useless, I have been through a lot in the past 8 yrs, brain surgery, two hip surgeries including a total hip replacement, 6 months of my mouth being completely numb, but for some reason this hit me really hard when they told me this I was expecting to find out what meds I could take to help with the problem and get back to "normal" but I was floored, when I walked out of the office I was shaking my teeth were even chattering literally because I was all of a sudden scared like crazy, I felt like I couldn't breathe - I had to go into the bathroom and literally wet my face with cold water and just sit for a few minutes so that I could think straight - I don't know why it hit me so hard but it did and I wanted to find out what needed to be done but I didn't realize how bad it had gotten , I know when I burn that hand on the stove or whatever I don't realize it quickly - I barely feel it... which he showed me by using a broken stick- toothpick it looked like and ran it across my hand I couldn't tell it was sharp or anything- Scary! I don't have the reflexes I should have I guess... I first started getting concerned when I was even having shoulder pain it was going up that far- ofcourse it being my Left side I started thinking Heart attack but because it was happening when I was at "rest" that took that out of the picture, then the other arm was also hurting- Relief! God will get me through this I know it, Everyone please just keep me in your prayers, thanks so much and I will update on here - they said if I didn't hear from my doctor within a week to set up the surgery to call him. God bless

DASH Category: Life
DASH

This was my husbands devotion this morning and it is so true - I want my dash to count!!
Dash
Have you ever been to the grave yard and looked at the head stones. They all have a birth year a death year and a dash. Like (1900-1980) The dash in the middle is the most important part. It is not the birth year or the year we past it is the dash that will tell our story of our life. The dash is the time between birth and death. If you think about a dash it is not much, the bible tells us our life is but a vapor and it is gone. What will you do for Christ in your life time. Think about your love ones that have passed and what do you remember about them. It is not their car or how much money they had. It is the love of Christ they showed with their life. I want to be remember for showing the Love of Christ in all I do and say.
What will your dash say?

Cat Came Home! VBS Plans.. Flu! UHH! Ok Wow where do I start well our cat Tommy has been gone for like 5 weeks and yesterday evening sure enough he came to the door and started "meowing" and I opened the door he looked up at me just as sweet his fur is really roughed up I don't know where he has been he still has his collar on barely, and he has a spot on him that is almost bare where something has gotten hold of him but it is already healing but he is HERE! But just last Tuesday I stopped at a house "free kittens" and took Tiff and she picked out one that isn't really young I would say a teen of cats and it is orange too like Tommy we have been calling him Jax ... Tommy has checked him over and they have not seemed to have had any problems with each other- Tiffany and I were both missing Tommy like crazy when I saw him I could have cried I was so happy! We had both even had dreams that he had came back in the last couple of weeks we were missing him so badly. We have truly said quite a few prayers. He is a tough cat. ... Oh the Flu I think everyone knows someone who has had it but Chris has had it I guess for the past two weeks he had it about a week and 1/2 ago and was able to go back to work last week but then last night he had a bad fever and felt really bad AGAIN, so this morning he starts coughing and everything all over again and ofcourse cannot go to church I had symptoms -even though I had a flu shot so I got a prescription of Tamiflu and got through it, Courtney had to do the same thing, now we have to get Chris to fight it off again!! In FUN news yesterday I went to Family Christian to a VBS workshop and chose our VBS for the year and I went with Cosmic City I went ahead and bought our starter kit I think I can really run with this one I already have a TON of ideas and notes there are so many things I can do. I really enjoyed the workshop too! It was a ton of fun. It was a blessing to get to do it and get to pick out the VBS was interesting too there were so many to choose from but I had this one in mind before I went I had already done my research online so I was ready, lol.

WinterJam! Mercy Me, Skillet, Barlow Girl, etc WinterJam was Awesome!! We had a ton of fun We took our Youth Group from church by bus and we were going to work the concert but when we got there they actually had more than enough workers so we got in and just kept check and tried to work but never got to! The church loved it!! I have to admit I missed working - but it was nice seeing the concert too. Afterwards we all went to Wendy's in Trussville which I don't think we were the only one with that idea as we set down while Chris and all the guys and all ordered it was about 30 minutes I guess before they got to the register, I think there were about 4 churches there at the same time as us- but hey what a good atmosphere to be in if you are going to have company. LOL. I think we got home about midnight everyone was tired and I think everyone was still tired when they got to church this morning but they all were still talking about how much fun they had.

Okay I cannot sing (u wouldn't want me to-lol) but this song is sung by someone in our church and I love it, and it has been on my mind and well on my heart lately.. It's truly my life I am so blessed when I wake up in the morning I am so thankful for so many blessings in my life.. God has given me an amazing family and I am so forever proud of everyone in my life, this song especially the chorus just really touches my heart.
Title: Artist: RACHAEL LAMPA Song: Blessed:I may never climb a mountainSo I can see the world from thereI may never ride the wavesAnd taste the salty ocean airOr build a bridgeThat would last a hundred yearsBut no matter where the road leadsOne thing is always clearI am blessedI am blessedFrom when I rise up in the morningTil I lay my head to restI feel You near meYou soothe me when I'm wearyOh Lord, for all the worst and all the bestI am blessedAll along the road less traveledI have crawled and I have runI have wandered through the wind and rainUntil I found the sunThe watching eyes ask me whyI walk this narrow wayI will gladly give the reasonFor the hope I have todayrepeat chorusYou've given me joyYou've given me loveYou give me strengthWhen I want to give upYou came from heavenTo rescue my soulThis is the reason I know, I knowrepeat chorus

Christmas Play Was Awesome!! Okay I haven't even I don't think mentioned this - the last time I posted I think was like over a month ago so we had barely gotten started into the play practice but last night was our Play... The Christmas Story... Jesus the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever! It went Great, Chris and I took it on again this year we actually had not planned to with moving into the house recently and everything going on but after asking a few to do it and no luck there I told Chris I really thought we should because we were not going to have a play if we didn't take it! And in all honesty - this year was much easier I had found a -smaller- play than last year as far as speaking parts but we could have pretty much as many non speaking as we had to throw in there and it worked out great, we were blessed with a great group. And I don't think I have posted since Thanksgiving which was also a blessing we had it at our house - everyone came over here- My mother wasn't feeling good so she and my stepdad didn't make it infact for some reason she still hasn't made it over to my home. But my Dad and stepmother and all of Chris's family came over and we had a ton of food I had been cooking all day and the night before and Chris helped me so much and the girls had been helping me clean up we done so much it was exhausting but so worth it in the end. I am actually going to be having Chrismas at my house too!! I am excited about that too! Oh and about the house- I have like had to get new appliances... well the dryer they left it - they agreed to because it was a gas one and I had a electric but it got like hung up and would sometimes not stop at the end of the setting... and of all the times one of the girls had some stuff that they needed for school the next morning and it was late and it didn't stop - so the burner thing went out - so we got a new one- which works great! And I got a new gas stove too that matches my stainless & black fridge - microwave - dishwasher and stuff, I love the look. So slowly but surely I am getting it all together. Our tree is pretty Ofcourse it is still Mickey Mouse and silver too. LOL

Casting Crowns - Drivers Permit- Etc... LOL...
WOW... time has flown by... I have no valid excuse... I have been sick it seems like forever first I had bronchitis (that doesn't look right) and got antibiotics for that which afterwards I thought I had a stomach thing which I found out they done a recall on those Jeno's pizzas that had little pepperoni's on them so I may have just had food poisioning!! It lasted almost a week for me and ofcourse I am the one with the weakest immune system in the house (Yeah for me!) LOL, I think I have gotten through that ... anyway ofcourse we are in our house YEAH!! Loving it Oh my goodness did everyone know how cold it is inside these big houses that are built good? WOW!! My arthritis and this cold not so good... Ok like now it is like 68 degrees outside and it is still in the 40's in the house I have a cute little thermometer that the previous owners had installed that tells me this above my sink really cute! But not so good on my bones we are talking about some major popping going on, it hurts and like well I CanNOT function!! You know it is not easy to heat these houses... gotta figure out how to heat it well the most economical way you know ... I love my electric blanket!! Ohhh okay I have not posted in forever... See my fingers don't even work good anymore they are so cold, lol. But last Friday was an amazing day shall I say a Blessed day- we already knew we were working the Casting Crowns concert that night and Chris had taken off that week to get stuff moved in to our house so I had talked him into going and working with me and the girls that night... we wanted to get there by like 5 or earlier and it is around a hour drive so we had also been talking to Courtney about her permit and taking her to try to take her test again that week.... after taking her a few times over the summer we got a bit frustrated I think she had just went through the test so quickly and not really tried her best because of the "nervesness" of it all. So she was a little frustrated at us for not taking her for a while, but we had seen her studying a lot lately and she had even had her friends studying with her at school so we told her we would check her out at school early on Friday and take her by before we head to the concert... and we did, as soon as we got there she had a wonderful lady who assisted her in starting her test and told her to take her time and if she had any questions just to ask She really made Courtney feel relaxed I believe and Courtney got up there we had already had prayer before she went back as a family... It Helps!! and we sit and watched her we knew the longer it took the more she got right and sure enough after a while she got up and gave us the thumbs up!!! Let me just tell you this is an amazing blessing for her We are so proud... she has already taken driver's ed last year and cannot wait to start driving a car - no not the Mustang, lol. But she is thrilled!! So afterwards we stopped and all got something to eat on the way but she was on Cloud 9 well I think she still is! We had a Awesome night Chris and I worked the merch for Casting Crowns and the girls gave out flyers when everyone entered, the concert had been sold out for weeks, it was a great night. They are growing up on me and I could not be any prouder of them. We have been trying to "unpack" things around the house .... Oh- I got my tanning bed building last week on my birthday actually on Oct. 30th it was a bit scary but Chris actually ran into a guy and he done it for us it was a wrecker service he put it up on a rollback I think they call it but I was so scared when I seen them get it up there a little bit at a time at an angle.... with the tanning bed in it! It survived no problems at all! And it actually looks cute out here beside my little pond. God has worked out all of our little situations that we didn't know how we were going to fix... one at a time. God is so Good- All the Time!
God bless Everyone!

Yoga Stretch SilverSneakers
Today Liz and I went to a Lakeshore Foundation YMCA for a new class we might be starting at the Y... Yoga Stretch it was a lot of fun which I think we both agreed it was a lot like we do now just maybe a little more stretching and we actually can incorporate it into our class ... I really enjoyed the breathing techniques I learned a lot in that area and am excited to teach my students more. We had a great day we actually stopped on our way home at a ton of thrift stores - something we both love to do I found a lot of holiday stuff for my new home. I am so excited just one more week until we are moving!!

YouthQuake 2007 Category: Music
I am a few days late in posting but this past Wednesday was YouthQuake here in Cullman, AL which I try to work I probably have a blog in here somewhere that I worked we had Kutless as the headliner and it was awesome... this time around we had TobyMac so this year I had decided depending on the years schedule and how they had done as far as school which as it turns out they had not had to use any parent notes so I kept them out and let them work with me- because I worked catering that meant for me to be there at 8 a.m. and the concert didn't start until 5 p.m. and it didn't make sense to drive a hour home to pick them up and Chris (hubby) didn't want to tackle it for me, so the girls ofcourse were excited!!! And we had a Great time... when we first got there we had Starbuck's coffee, Hardee's biscuits, donuts, cereal and fruit so everyone pretty much had everything to choose from... I had to make a run to WalMart to get us some coolers so we actually grabbed us some Chik-fil-A (never happy-lol) all of the crew at this point was starting up on the stage only TobyMac's bus has gotten there at this point.. and we started setting up a tent beside the stage for our catering as well which we had to get another one because it was too small, We had some sandwich trays for lunch and made up vegetable trays too... by this time everyone was getting up and around TobyMac and his crew all came out I was able to introduce the girls to him they didn't even know they were standing behind him at the table so I just introduced them it was so funny!! We were starting to get in more groups -A Beautiful Republic was there and they were especially nice the lead singer Ben sit and talked with us for quite a while... he asked the girls why they weren't in school and they told him and he asked them if they thanked me and they said "Yes" which by this point they had like ten times, and continued throughout the day. Between lunch and supper we didn't have a whole lot to do just straighten up the area for the artists and volunteers and got the pizzas ordered for the volunteers. The lines started building up pretty long which we had to run to the car and get my money and my camera and we ran into Justin and Cari they had parked right behind me and they were there representing WDJC as they do so well! - doors opened like at 4:30 I think and we gave the Domino's guy my so he could call and I would tell him how to get to me and so he got there like at 4:45 and I got him to pull up to where the volunteers catering is set up and they all started coming in slowly but surely... We also had our set up going for the artists we had BBQ chicken and a awesome spread along with some great desserts too A Yummy selection which really went over well they all seemed to enjoy it, after all of the volunteers ate we just went to hang backstage for the concert which we were midways through all of the headliners I guess you would say... they all were so great. We got to hear Rick Burgess speak which was Great... then he came on back down and set down by us and ate, lol. They done the alter call during all of this time which was great and had a small "intermission" I guess you would call it before Toby came out. When he got onto the stage he blew the crowd away it was amazing the stage was on fire... Tiffany got some pretty good pictures we were right there on the end of the stage so she was able to play around with it... she was actually right below the guy spinning the records. We had a ton of fun. We got YouthQuake 07 shirts and we also got 1 other shirt each Mine and Tiff's say Pick God and looks like a Guitar Pick on it and Courtneys is Yellow with oranges on it and says Orange you glad Jesus Saves. We could not have had a better time, It was a great event and I am so glad the girls were a part of it this year.

When I say... "I am a Christian" When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin."I'm whispering "I was lost,"Now I'm found and forgiven. When I say..."I am a Christian"I don't speak of this with pride.I'm confessing that I stumbleand need CHRIST to be my guide. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not trying to be strong.I'm professing that I'm weakand need HIS strength to carry on.When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not bragging of success.I'm admitting I have failedand need God to clean my mess. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not claiming to be perfect,My flaws are far too visiblebut, God believes I am worth it.When I say... "I am a Christian"I still feel the sting of pain,I have my share of heartachesSo I call upon His name. When I say... "I am a Christian"I'm not holier than thou,I'm just a simple sinnerwho received God's good grace, somehow.~Maya Angelou~

YES ... we are almost there.. Well we are a bit closer than we were actually we close on our house on Friday ... we meet in Gadsden to sign the papers officially!!! So we are almost there!! I am soooo excited!! We cannot wait to get in there... I know the couple that are moving out cannot wait to get into their new home as well that is being built and be near their granddaughter. Chris and I both have asked each other a couple of times if we had asked God to teach us patience but I don't remember doing that - after the year he stayed in LA while I had the surgery and all we had to go through enough of that, lol, I still feel like we are tested every now and then though just through life. OH .... I meant to add it on here earlier and forgot we ofcourse had our first day Sunday in our new positions at church which meant we are officially working with the Youth now.. so we had the priviledge of standing with and leading with them on the songs being youth Sunday ... the kids done Awesome as always! It was a ton of fun, and it was my first Official day as teacher in my primary Sunday school class so I started in my books that I had ordered and I really think they enjoyed having a set thing to go back ofcourse I made it fun and I think the parents event liked seeing that they brought out something showing what they done... they done so good and even read well. We had fun. Well just a matter of weeks before we will be in our new home- we cannot wait! Keri actually got her trailor moved yesterday I can't believe they haven't moved into it I told her I would be in it even without power, lol. But they are waiting till everything is hooked up. I am glad they are getting a home for themselves finally. God works it out if you just rely on him. I had a great class at the Y yesterday a big one I think I had 9 students and 3 of them were new but they were all in really good health able to use good size weights and stand with me when needed and they all said they would be back.. after my class Liz and I had a little 30 minute class and worked our abs done a few things we are both excited about going to the Vestavia Y and taking the Yoga instructor class and starting that class the first week in October.

God Must Have Been Missing An Angel...

I have kept touch with a friend of mine.. Jennifer we were friends in school she has been blessed with an amazing little girl who has been suffering with seizures and it was taking a huge toll on her and she was hospitalized and I am not sure all of the details but her body had took all it could stand and God took this little Angel home to be with him.. and she was beautiful to see tonight at the funeral home so beautiful words truly cannot even describe how beautiful she was.... You know I do not understand why these things happen just a few days ago we went to the funeral of a little boy of only 12 days old... and today a girl of 12 years old... I know these things happen for a reason but it is so hard not to want to question "Why?" I know that God has his reasons and I know these beautiful Angels are in Heaven now. God must have been missing an Angel.

If God Brings You To It . . .
Yesterday was a hard day as Chris and I went to the funeral of one of God's gifts that was with us for a very short time - only 12 days but I believe that during those 12 days he impacted lives more than some ever do in a lifetime, let me first start off with what was listed in his little card as well as in the obituaries.. it was very nice..
Daily, John River Noah
He came into our world August 11, at 1 pound and 3 ounces, but what a fighter. The Lord allowed him to be with us for 12 days and it is amazing how many lives that tiny little one touched.Dozens of friends and co-workers came, all with love and concern for the little one; and hundreds prayed for him. Total strangers were praying for him and with the family. St. Vincent's doctors and nurses were a source of strength. We still have good Christian, compassionate people in our world.A million thanks to each one of you who said a prayer, spoke an encouraging word, or even put a hand on our shoulder. We bid farewell to his heavenly home our tiniest little angel who touched so many lives in just 12 days.John River Noah Daily of Ashville passed away August 23, 2007, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham. He is survived by his parents, Keith Daily and Savannah Helton of Ashville; paternal grandparents, Francis and Chris Abernathy of Ashville, and Joyce Marie Daily of Oneonta; maternal grandparents, Don Helton of Guntersville, Jena and Allen Sanders of Ashville; sister, Alexis Lynn Daily of Ashville; maternal great-grandparents, Melba and James Buttram of Gadsden, Buford and Margaret Sanders of Ashville; paternal great-grandparents, Louie and Betty Jean Jester of Ashville; uncles, Joseph Anthony of Ashville and Derrick Bonds of Guntersville. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Kenneth Daily of Oneonta.
My husband has had the honor to be a part of his life.. as he was asked to baptize him, something Chris had not ever done but felt privileged to be a part of, it was actually one of the first times the mother got to hold the baby, he actually started to gain a few ounces and started to use the bathroom but his kidneys were not working like they needed to I don't even know for sure what the exact complications were but I do know that the parents stood on Faith and left it in God's hands and he give him 12 days with them which I believe was more than the Dr's had expected for him, he was beautiful and he touched the couple and brought them closer to God and I pray they will stay on that road. Chris and I see them and think about parts of our life and how we got to where we are today and how we didn't understand the trials... miscarriage, Courtney's seizures to my brain tumor but the lessons learned and how they are the reason we are who we are today, We made things so much harder on ourselves not seeing what was in front of us... God all we needed to do is to hand our lives over to him because when we are in control of it We are going to mess it all up!!
If God brings You To It God Will bring You Through It...

The People We Meet
The People We Meet

Thursday I got a call from a wonderful lady at our church, Ann she and I were going to meet and decorate for our revival which starts tomorrow I had been looking forward to it I do love her she is an amazing person and I do look up to her so much, she has always been so wonderful to us every since we started the church and she is just a true blessing in our lives she is a Godly woman. But instead of just saying “What time do you want to meet?” Unfortunately she told me of the passing of Carl Decker her brother-in-law which is a man who has actually made a impact in my life even more than I had realized in the past year or so….. You see he and his wife Clara sit right behind us to our left usually on Sunday mornings as we are doing our morning devotion and sometimes we sit there after Sunday school as well, we speak quite often and he always comments to me on Chris’s devotions and how he enjoys them as well as how much he has enjoyed his preaching – I honestly don’t think he has ever missed saying something nice about any of them, and last year toward the end of the year he was so nice… he had somehow ended up helping out in the Ladies Sunday school class he actually said he really wasn’t sure how he ended up there to begin with but the teacher in there Mrs. Evelyn had been sick for a while there and he had been filling in for her and doing a outstanding job but he asked me if I would be willing to sit in on class and maybe try it out and I have to admit I was so very honored first of all… it truly humbled me I was not at all worthy and I felt very overwhelmed but I loved it and truly tried to learn every week before I had to read the lessons and he was amazing as well as the entire class how much I learned with them, their comments alone taught me so much, thank goodness Mrs. Evelyn was able to come back and I started working with the primary Sunday school which is probably more on my “learning level” to begin with but I still feel so honored just to have been asked by him to begin with… but he always makes a point to speak to us and he is so great with the girls and Courtney loves that he makes a comment about her hair, lol. Clara said that he actually got up on Thursday and said “It’ is a beautiful day Isn’t it?” and for him by the end of the day he saw exactly how beautiful the day truly was. I feel truly blessed to have met this person and to have had him as a part of my life. Sunday we also had the news that Jo Washburn another one of our amazing seniors of which has been unable to come to church for quite a few months but when she did come her presence was always known… She would stand for God and sing an amazing song the name of the song is ..
When I Take My Vacation in Heaven
I actually just found it and the lyrics they are amazing but I wish you could hear her I can hear her and oh I tell you to know that is where she is Where I want to be one day to take that Vacation in Heaven .. What a Beautiful Time that Will Be!
These two people that I have spoken of are why we need our church today I cannot tell you how much these people have meant to me and my life and my families life.. I wish I could say I had actually had this since I was young but unfortunately I did not but I am so thankful that I do now and I love my church and church family.
Here are the lyrics I would like to share with you I only wish you could hear what I can still hear in my heart.
Johnny CashAlbum: Hymns from the HeartTrack: When I Take My Vacation in Heaven
There are those who are taking vacations to the mountains the lakes and the seaWhere they rest from their cares and their troublesWhat a wonderful time that must beBut it seems not my lot to be like them I must toil through the heat and the coldSeekin' out the lost sheep on the mountains bringing wanderers back to the foldBut when I take my vacation in heaven what a wonderful time that will beHearing concerts by the heavenly Chorus and the face of my Saviour I'll seeSitting down on the banks of the river neath the shade of the evergreen treeThere I'll rest from my burdens forever won't you take your vacation with me(Sitting down on the banks of the river under the shade of the evergreen tree)There I'll rest from my burdens forever won't you take your vacation with me

Giving God Control In my life
Okay it's like you know God is working in your life you don't want to "hinder" it I guess you could say because you don't know which way to "go" with your life... Have you ever felt that way? I want God to have total control of my life but you know because of the way my life has went early on I think I have always wanted to keep my life in "my control" My husband tells me it is a "Tidwell" thing (yes it is my maiden name) but I think it is just a life thing... everyone does it- As I was young my life was crazy because there was no stability in it unfortunately my parents divorced when I was young but technically they probably should have when I was even younger because they put us all through so much for so many years before they finally divorced- so ok maybe I was twisted, lol, but anyway change has never been easy for me even though I see this change as a great opportunity for me and my family so that is why I am handing it over to God and asking him to work in our lives as best for us because I see what all he has done for us and how far we have gotten with God because wow Lord knows we didn't get here on our own... we would have messed it all up if we would have been in control! But we have a chance to make a better life for all of us I think but it does take a huge Change for us one of those "I will never do that" changes for me and I can honestly say I am looking forward to it even though it is like I am having to take a big girl pill to do it I guess you could say because it is like leaving a huge part of my childhood behind that I don't want to leave behind but I need to and well I think I really DO want to because it is best for all of us .... as you can tell I don't want to post what exactly it is that we are considering but it is a major life decision we are making and we are not sharing it with anyone as of yet so I don't want to state that info yet but it will be on here soon enough even if we decide against it - I will post it. Just please all of my prayer warrior friends out there please keep us in your prayers that God's will be done. A lot will be coming up in our lives as well Sept. 1 our new year starts at our church which Chris will still be Sunday School Superintendent and I will start teaching my new sunday school kids and we will be the Youth Directors so please be much in prayer for that we are very excited for that we both have a lot of great ideas for the new year and we are very curious about what new ideas the Lord will give us along the way.

What if Jesus Saw Your MySpace
What if Jesus Saw Your MySpace
By Aaron "the Levite" (myspace.com/aaron_the_levite)
This message is for all you believers on Myspace and anyone else who professes to be a Christian. I say these things with the utmost sincerity and love to all you people.
So take a look at everything you have on your profile, and ask yourself that question. What if He did? What if Jesus were to look at your profile? What would He find? Would He be shocked? Outraged? Pleased? Would He be glorified through it?
The truth is, Jesus Christ would be utterly appalled at the worldliness and carnality of the pages of so many people here in Myspace that claim to know and love Him. And you know what? He is. He has already seen your profile; in fact, He knows everything you've ever done since you were born, and everything you will do until you die. He's seen every sin done in secret, and knows exactly where you stand with Him.
Again, I say these things not to condemn you, but because I love you and know God loves you and wants you to get right with Him. He wants you to love, serve, and obey Him, and give Him all the glory.
So take a moment to let the light of Christ shine on your Myspace to expose every evil thing.
1. FILTHY LANGUAGE
Ephesians 4:29: "Let not any filthy word go out of your mouth, but if any is good to building up in respect of need, that it may give grace to the ones hearing."
Does any filthy language come out of your mouth (or your keyboard for that matter)?
The 3rd commandment is, "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain."
Do you disregard God or Jesus Christ's name so much that you would bring it down to the level of a filth word to express disgust? The Bible makes it clear this is a SERIOUS sin. Every time you do this you show your lack of respect and fear to the very God who gave you life.
2. CLOTHING
Romans 12:2 says that you shouldn't be conformed to this world. Do you try to be like the world or like Christ? Look at all the pictures you post, especially you, ladies. 1 Timothy 2:9 says that women should dress MODESTLY. Just because every other girl dresses with short skirts and skimpy outfits showing a lot of cleavage doesn't mean you should too. As Christians we are called to be different, set apart, HOLY. And in Romans 14 it says that if we cause someone else to stumble, we have sinned. Think of all the people you have caused to fall into sin. And not just non-believers, I'm talking about CHRISTIANS as well. Do you get picture comments like "You're hot!" or worse? Well, congratulations--you've caused someone to lust after you. Jesus said that if you look with lust, you've committed adultery in your heart, and the Bible makes it clear that no adulterers will enter heaven. Does it concern you that you might have caused someone to slide further into hell because of your lack of discretion?
Furthermore, the Bible makes it clear we should be giving God ALONE all the glory. People should be able to look at us and see Jesus. When you show a lot of skin, or when you adorn yourself with much jewelry, or flashy and fancy clothing, who are you showing off, Christ or yourself? Something to think about.
3. DRINKING
Or what about drinking? The Bible says that all things (that are not sin) are lawful, but not all things are helpful (1 Cor. 6:12). The Bible doesn't condemn drinking, just drunkenness. But again, if you use the liberty you have in Christ to cause someone to stumble, you have sinned. Think about how pictures with you holding beer cans have DAMAGED your testimony as a Christian, and have caused others to sin. You claim to be a Christian. People are looking at you, looking up to you, examining your every move. You're giving non-believers an excuse to keep living the way they do. They're going to look at you and say, "Christians act like that?" Drunkards are going to use you as an excuse to remain drunkards, and others will be turned off from Jesus because of your attitude. Don't give them a cause to blaspheme the name of Christ, or to use your poor choices to try to justify their own sinfulness.
4. LOVE OF MONEY
Matthew 6:24 says that you can't serve both God and money. You will either "hate the one and love the other," or "hold to the one and despise the other." Do you love money? Do you desire riches? Jesus told us not to lay up for ourselves treasures on earth, but in heaven (Matt 6:19-20).
James 4:4: "Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."
Anything else that is against the Bible or trying to imitate the world is wrong, and you need to get rid of it from your profile. Violence, vanity, theft, pride, selfishness, arrogance, sexual depravity, filthiness, etc. If you care enough about God and others, you will heed to His words.
Now please take what you just learned and apply it not only to your Myspace, but to your personal life as well. If you have truly been saved, born again, redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus on the cross, you know that God is always there, beholding all the good and evil you do. Were not perfect, and we sometimes fall to sin, but we do have to aim for perfection. We have the Holy Spirit guiding us, and every day making us more holy. So we are left without an excuse.
So whenever your tempted to act like the world, remember that Jesus is there watching you. Whenever you're watching a TV show or movie that contains violence, blood and gore, nudity, sex, homosexuality, witchcraft, horror, or any other form of wickedness, remember that Jesus is right there with you. Whenever you want to listen to secular music that doesn't bring Him any glory, Hes there listening to it with you. Think about it--you love to watch and listen to these things because they're entertaining. But they're not glorifying God, and they are actually harming you. They're not bringing you closer to your Creator, they're taking your mind away from Him, and they inject demonic filth into your mind. It's like eating poison.
Psalm 101:3 says, "I will set no wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me."
And Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think on these things."
There you have it, clear commands from the Lord. Do not waste your time with this nonsense; fill your mind with what is good, and pure, and holy. The closer you get to the Lord--the more you fall in love with Him, the more joy you have in Him--the less entertainment you will need. And the only way to do this is by reading the Word, obeying Him, and seeking Him in prayer. We need to live radical, holy lives for Christ.
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light."Ephesians 5:11-13
You have been called to be like Christ. If everything I said just sounded completely whack to you and you have no intention of changing, you have to examine your own salvation, because it is VERY likely that you are not saved. Please go to www.ExamineYourself.com . This is so important, your eternal salvation is at stake. God doesn't want you to go to hell, and neither do I.
"If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth." 1 John 1:6
"Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." 1 John 2:15-16
May the God of peace be with you all, and change you daily into holy men and women for Him. God bless you and keep you.

It was a great day to go not a lot of people so the rides were great the raging river gorge ride thing it is like thunder river we could stay on it over and over to keep riding not have to go get in the line again!!! Hey for someone like me.. (hip replacement) that is a BIG + We had a great day, we started out from there about 3-ish which is good because I checked my phone and I was doing the class at church which I didn't know about so I am so glad I left in time to get home to pull a lesson together and it was so much fun I did this puzzle on Jesus' names and the kids had to look up scriptures that would give them the answers and I brought them some goodies that they got to choose from when they got done with their puzzles as a "incentive" LOL. Great Church night. And then there was today - the church we took the youth to Spring Valley Beach which we have never been before so we met the bus there they opened at 10 we had to wait on them to open, we rented a pavillion and they were really nice it was like a deck we had a lot of kids and quite a few adults show up.... there was a huge pool area I think maybe the deepest was like 5 ft in most of the areas they had a kiddie part and some slides in it and there was another area with just slides some really huge ones and even two cement ones that you had to wear a helment one and just let me tell you my daughter Courtney ... Courtney the oldest that doesn't do anything out of the ordinary doesn't even ride a bicycle because she is scared she will fall, just all of a sudden decided She was going to go down this water slide!! (note to self-first dangerous thing to try should not be something that requires a helmet) Well about the time she is 1/4th of the way up there I am stuttering why aren't you going with her Tiff and she said she don't want me to go with her She said "She want's to go alone" and I am saying well I would feel better if you were atleast with her... and then she is up there in the line about 10 down and I said ok I just wish she wasn't doing this I was looking at the slide the cement and thinking nope she can't she won't she will back out... my mind was just going nuts... she got 3 away and I told Tiff she can't do this - she said do you want me to go get her? I said no you won't make it before she gets down - she was like 50 feet up a winding line, I was praying - God and I had a direct connection and it was a Hot line, well then she was getting down to get on her mat and go so I told Tiff "She is getting down" she said good she is getting down and coming back so I was like nope she is starting OHHH... and about that time I saw her go and around the second curve all I could see was two feet in the air and they weren't even in the right way- she had turned the wrong way and on her back.... I was terrified, I told Tiff and she was looking and shaking just like me we were both praying out loud to God... then just as soon as we were calling on him she popped up on the next curve and she was all peppy and chewing her chewing gum just as big as ever!! Just like nothing ever happened and she was "ALL GOOD" lol, she kept going strong and got all the way down and dipped in that oh 2 -3 ft of water like it was a super quick dip and jumped up and said "I tell you what I am never doing that again!" and I think she meant it, lol. Tiffany and I were shaking like leaves and thanking God for every inch of Courtney and there she was just a smacking that gum like she never missed a beat!! Thank you Jesus she is such an amazing young lady!! I have two amazing young ladies. This same Courtney also decided she wanted to go down the smaller of the two water slides on the other side which wasn't a huge slide but she did that solo as well and I could not be prouder of her! She is growing up I think even quicker than she realizes. lol. Anyway we had an amazing day and stayed till like 3:30 and were all so tired I think we all took a nap... lol. I think everyone from our church enjoyed it too. www.springvalleybeach.com

Currently ListeningAnything Worth SayingBy Aaron Shustsee related
Wow What a WEEKOk What a week it has been... it was great- well actually the past few weeks have been awesome directing bible school has to be one of the most rewarding events of my life and I am so thankful God got me through it - one day at a time with no major tragedies, lol. We never lost a single kid or even any adults that I know of and we were all fed even if I did have to go get more food after the first night which I truly considered a honor because it meant we had a whole lot of people!!! That wasn't a problem that was a blessing! And God placed so many people in the church that are awesome and helped in every way they were asked and even more- when needed, some before I even knew they were needed because I did not know what all was needed! I purchased a book that let me write down more or less everything that would be about the VBS from a head count every night to the budget, etc and I have wrote down as I think of things so that next year I can compare and remember these things which that is what the book is for actually so that you know where to start and what all you need as well so I am looking forward to next year!! Our vacation was AWESOME we came home on Thursday we were going to come home on Wednesday but we called down and asked if our villa was available for another day and they said that we could move to another one if we wanted to which was great because of course it was fresh and clean, lol and we did! So I had already pretty much packed everything in the process of moving to the other room and we just kept everything that we could that way and we spent our last day just enjoying it, we first drove into Pigeon Forge for a little while then came back to our resort in Gatlinburg and when it cooled off a bit we walked the strip for a little while and it was so relaxing. The next day we got home late in the evening because we were not in any hurry getting back we enjoyed our trip home stopping by the Christian Bookstore in Sevierville I got a lot of stuff for my sunday school class and our youth and I know Chris got a lot of stuff - a learning Bible and some neat stuff too we always try to save that as the last thing we do or first thing. Oh and I got 10 tapes for Tiffany of music that she can sing with in church I hope she can work with some of them. Friday we picked the girls up at 2:30 they had a great week and really enjoyed it, I am so glad they didn't seem to be quite as exhausted when we first got them as usual - last year you could barely speak to them they would bite your head off, lol they were so sleepy and they didn't even realize it I don't think but wow I sure did, which they are still catching up on their sleep I know here it is 20 till 1 on Saturday and they are still sleeping! They both came home with digital cameras full of pics they really enjoyed their weeks and it is funny because Tiffany was the one who didn't even want to go to camp when she knew we were going to go to TN (our first ever vacation by ourselves-in 17 yrs) and she is the one who called me twice while we were gone that was like the first day... and Courtney called me twice a day Thank God which if she hadn't I would have been in panic mode because she would call me and let me know she just took her meds 2x a day just as I asked her to call me and let me know but she would tell me what all she done and all and she would sometimes call me in the middle of the day. They stayed busy though. So now we are all home and we can get back to regular mode... we have purchased our season passes for Alabama Adventures and not even had a chance to go so we need to get started back there for the summer. Looking forward to that again. Hope everyone is having a great summer. God bless.

Black Bear Jamboree, Pigeon Forge, TenneseeToday was fun... ok to update we got in Pigeon Forge last night... we done a little bit of shopping nothing big really... then today we done some more fun stuff it really is weird not having the girls it's almost like we don't know what to do- like I am not complete without them... Is that crazy? It is a lot like when they first go back to school after the summer I am just like wow something is missing... but this is actually our first ever "since they were born" vacation together ALONE so we really need to enjoy time together and it does help knowing that they are at Church Camp and enjoying it... infact I just spoke with them a few minutes ago and they are having a Ton of fun! It helps knowing that our church family is watching after them for us and would call us if they need us and the girls have their cell phones that is how they are calling us. Tomorrow I think Chris and I are just going to stay here at the resort most of the day as far as I know... and maybe walk the strip or something we have done so much already we would like to rest a little bit, I am still trying to rest up from VBS. I am still so thrilled that it went so well. Thank You Jesus. Oh tonight we just got in a little bit ago from the Black Bear Jamboree WE finally went to a show here... it was so cool actually it was "dinner and a show" we were worried we would be disapointed but it was so much fun.

BlessedBlessed that's it... that sums it up last night was amazing it was the best night the look on all the little kids faces and you know I truly didn't think anything could get brighter than the Bright Flourescent Yellow t'shirts I got them this as their VBS shirts but their smiles when they were up there singing Splish Splash Bible Bash was Awesome!!! And afterwards I was told a few times it was the biggest VBS ever and that it went well, Bro. Bill announced it went good without any problems (Praise God) and in all honesty I had prayed everyday for God to get me through it without any migraines and you know the first two days I had one during the day before VBS started and I was able to medicate and get them taken care of before time for the event, and God took care of me all week just like I knew he would and I got Liz to work our Tuesday class at the Y and I did the Thursday and it went well they were awesome and all just curious as to how it was going ... it was a quick hour... I had so much to do that day anyway.... and aside from being a SUPER busy Friday the week went by so fast I am still scrambling to remember it all to take down all my notes for next year!!! I know if I don't do it now I will never remember everything I want to that will be benificial to us in the long run. And I am soooo happy with our numbers for the week!!! What a blessing. You know usually we would have a dip in the middle or end of the week but NOPE the lowest night was the first night 138 which was still an amazing start you know they said a first night we do good to break 90--- We had 138!!!! WOW and I hope we get a lot of these back, we told them about our youth and tried to encourage them so maybe we will see them again soon. Tiffany had a friend who stayed with us while we were cleaning up and we went to Wendy's afterwards and ate then we took her home- they had fun. When I got home I took a shower and hit the bed and was so happy and relieved because I truly feel like things went well and the kids looked so great up there!!! Now we need to think about next year------ NOT quite yet.... we have to survive the rest of the year and come up with other fun things for the rest of the year. LOL. Thanks so much for the prayers!!

WOW!!!
WOW that is putting it mildly I am overwelmed what a week this has been last night was amazing... last night was the night that I was worried about- not getting enough t-shirts that everyone would be upset by the end of the night but Praise God it all ended up to be an amazing night we had more than enough cake, pizza and WOW we raised over $500 for Children's Miracle Network... what a blessing Ofcourse AUBURN won our contest but we had a cake for both Auburn and Alabama and actually even an extra that had our Water Park logo on it... everyone went great.... OH OH yeah our popcorn popper went awesome I didn't get to try it honestly sad but true I was just in the zone all night, lol. But it smelt so good all night through the church and we still even had some nacho cheese left for nachos that was another thing that went well that machine was great! The kids loved that and we have one more pack of that for a youth night!!! Tonight will be our commencement ceremony which is usually short and sweet because everyone wants to get out of there Lord knows I want to because I am the one speaking, lol. I have found a awesome poem for them that represents how much help they have been for me all week to give them all in a cute little bag. Till next time...

Vacation Bible School Kick-Off Was Awesome!!!Ok I realize it was only the kick-off Night one and technically not offically a lesson night but we survived!! We had a awesome turnout, it went better than I truly expected before I even realized it the sanctuary was full of kids and so April and I went out and handed out leis to everyone and as soon as we gave them all out I said we had a visitor and let Chris know so he came out as "the surfer dude" and talked to everyone and got them all excited..... it was so much fun, he got them laughing and then ofcourse he told them a little about the week as well as the rules of the "Water Works Theme Park" that they will be visiting the rest of the week... and then Stella (she is the worlds best music teacher as well as teacher in general she has been such a blessing in my life) anyway Stella done our theme music with our kids which was great for our first night she has worked with our kids on Wednesday nights and they know the songs and the motions already they were Awesome!!! As soon as she got done I signaled to the guys who were doing the skit Chris and some of our other talented guys of our church.... LOL and they done an amazingly funny skit to kick off our night and then we got to go downstairs and eat and go outside and have FUN!!!!!!! The kids were having fun but then they found the water balloons and that brought the adults into it and I think they had more fun than the kids- they were everywhere for a while there I actually had to bring out a second pack of them that I had bought. The night was a Success.... We even started on our Money we are taking in for Children's Miracle Network we are doing it Auburn VS Alabama and we actually raised $10.57 but tomorrow is the first night we actually start the money thing unfortunately only $1 was for Auburn.... the rest for Alabama we have a Pastor that pads anything for Alabama - not fair, lol. We have a few days to work on it. I am so glad tonight went good - thanks so much for all the prayers - please continue praying for our week of VBS and if there are any lost they find Salvation.

Chris and I will be the youth directors for our church, we are so excited about it, we have been praying about this for a while now and are really excited!!! It is going to be an adventure without a doubt- we will need everyones prayers, we have had the opportunity to work with the youth quite a bit over the past few months with the Christmas play and I have been a sub on Wednesday nights for one of the youth classes and I actually have just taken the primary Sunday School class teacher position which will take over in September as well- I have worked with them off and on as well they are a awesome group! I am excited about getting a "regular" routine going with them. Keep me in your prayers that I would do what God would have me do.

Keep Us In Your PrayersWow.... Well it is almost Here!! I would like to ask Everyone for your prayers- I am not sure who all I have talked to but our vacation bible school aka Water Works Park starts this Sunday which I have been working on almost daily as director for the past few weeks and this is a first for me and I am truly enjoying it but praying that I do a great job for the kids I have a ton of ideas that I am working on I feel like my head is just jumbled with ideas from the first night of kickoff on Sunday till the the very last night on Friday which I know we will all be drained, and ready to fall out with exhaustion. God has blessed us with an amazing growth of youth this year and so I am so looking forward to seeing how many we actually see on our numbers- and we are going to have an amazing staff as well I got Chris to be our guy to get everyone pumped at the beginning before they go back which I think will be a good thing- looking forward to that- I know that will be fun, and we have a lot of fun planned for them throughout the week. Please pray for us.

The Serenity Prayer
The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can;and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful worldas it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things rightif I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with HimForever in the next.Amen.
--Reinhold Niebuhr

Trust in the LORD with all your heartand lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge him,and he will direct your paths.
Proverbs 3, 5-6

Only A Week Away.... Wow Only 1 More Week- Time has flown by- I cannot believe it I am hoping everything goes smoothly as well it can, it is VBS as well as my very first one so who knows- I am "anxious" I guess. Today we done our Sunday School officers and April had actually called me on Friday and told me that if I still wanted to teach the 2nd-4th graders she would teach with me... which I was thrilled because I was curious who I was going to get to help me out- God always provides. We also decided to take VBS directors again next year- I told her as long as we survive this one we should make it, LOL. I am truly enjoying this one- which it truly is a learning process day by day infact I am guessing by the time it is over I will have a few things figured out, lol. Right now I am trying to figure out what I can use for a treasure chest for the classes.. I want to make them each one and then I will fill them up with goodies so they can give them to their classes for bringing their bibles or whatever they prefer to give them a "treat" for. I think that would be a great idea. I want to find something maybe that I can paint gold or something like that or maybe that is already colored gold I don't know how to go with it. Chris took superintendant again and was officially labeled- marquee keeper, - which he was doing anyway, lol. Last week we were nominated for Youth Directors which is to me the most exciting of everything I cannot wait to get started on some of our ideas- which working with the VBS is somewhat of a start - even though it isn't official until September VBS (and my Sunday School class) gets me the opportunity to socialize a little more than normal with the kids and do a lot with them- and Chris has been conveniently thrown in as a somewhat useful part in the VBS as well - nothing to do with his connection to me, and will be doing some really cool and funny skits which will also help in communications as well. We truly are looking forward to starting off our year with our Youth.

Arthritis Walk !!
Today was a ton of fun... It was the 2007 Birmingham Arthritis Walk... I volunteered.. I got the girls to work with me they loved it too... we were at the second water station... it was at the 1 mile point... where everyone turned around to make one mile or kept going if they wanted to go 3 miles, there were a lot of people there and I think the last I heard there was over 98 thousand raised which is AWESOME!! When we got done at our stations -because the walk was over we walked back to the main area and we got us some of the goodies that ofcourse you get to get when you walk around at the walk central meeting area... we got a bunch of apples because there were a lot left when it was over, It was a great day for the walk and the area was good too.. a lot of shaded areas, it was the first year for them to have the doggies walking this walk with them and there were a lot of cute ones!! Oh I didn't get the chance to blog yesterday but the girls were out for a "weather day" yesterday and I was doing a Health Fair for the Arthritis Foundation in Hokes Bluff so they got to go with me - they enjoyed it and it was kind of nice having someone with me, there were quite a lot of people there I was really surprised to see so many out in that area. I am getting to work on the VBS at church this is the first time I have ever been in charge of it, Me and April are doing it and our theme is "Water Works Park" it is really cute... I am eager to see how it works.

Gatlinburg Weekend!!We had a Great weekend! We actually got home last night but I didn't take the time to blog...... put down all of my thoughts... Our weekend started on Friday I actually picked up the girls from school a little early and Chris came home a bit early from work too so we could go ahead on get on the road and hopefully miss a little bit of the traffic of everyone coming home from work which I am not sure if that actually worked but we done rather well for the most part- we hit traffic in a lot of areas but that was in like Knoxville where it is always crazy anyway.... and when we actually got to Sevierville it wasn't too bad - Pigeon Forge had it's moments but we made it through pretty well, and got to our location a little bit earlier than we thought- and was able to get our keys to our cabin and check it out. We thought it was cute, we really didn't know exactly what to expect - Me and the girls had stayed in a cabin with my family about 4 years ago when my cousin was getting married in Gatlinburg and it was really nice and huge but this one ofcourse was just a 2 bedroom and the master bedroom in this one is downstairs but really nice- we have ofcourse the jacuzzie tub and the deck, and ofcourse we have the deck with the hot tub as well, and the girls had their room with a bath room but shared the bed- could have used the couch that went to a bed but ofcourse wanted to stay together, lol. Personally I didn't care for the walk down the stairs it was rough on me... I couldn't handle that very long.... on a regular basis- I would make sure I had what I needed when I came up or down. We also had a BBQ grill on the deck with the hot tub. No internet at all - a bummer for us / well we only tried once there wasn't access as far as ethernet cables, and we tried to pick up a wireless connection but never found one, which in almost all of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg you can access but we I am guessing were too far out, for the first night we went on to WalMart to pick up our necessites which was ofcourse food and basics because I was looking forward to having a grill - and we did that first night when we got back we grilled hotdogs and Chris even grilled a couple of hamburgers too, it was really good!! And afterwards I went and enjoyed the jacuzzi... you know I really could get used to one of those at home - seriously that would help me so much at home, it helps my bones so much, it feels so good and can get on my shoulders and back and the heat is great!!! We all watched TV and went to bed pretty late. On Saturday morning I got up and made Bacon Biscuits and Gravy... everyone ate good and took baths and we had to go by Crown Resorts where we own to talk with them at 3 and then we actually walked the strip in Gatlinburg ofcourse as soon as we did it was later in the afternoon and everyone was hungry and we had to visit our friend at Julian's Pizza and get some pizza... and we got some corn dogs and Courtney got Burger King, which we ate across from Julian's at a little table outside of a candy store where Courtney and I had been sitting trying to find Chris and Tiffany... then we had went walking and actually after walking all the way down that side of the strip and part of the way up the strip I realized that I didn't have my camera bag with me!!!! And I knew I had my camera bag with me when the walk started and so I was scrambling to think where it could be where I definetly had it and Chris was trying to help me figure it out... and we finally thought and I remembered sitting it down at that table where we ate and we took off Me and Tiffany especially I really honestly inside felt like it was gone because these days it is so hard to find anyone who will turn things in which is sad... but not a lot do and so I was scared that if anyone found it they just took it.... and I was praying to God that it was still somehow sitting there... I mean just praying and I took a deep breathe... and I cannot tell you how much pain I was in I have not even jogged in the past 7 years and I was actually trying to make a decent pace I think... my legs were hurting so bad - but I looked where we were sitting nothing.... I took in another deep breath and said ok looked at Tiff and said I am going to see if someone turned it in, and poor Tiff she said "I am sorry Mommy." she just knew it was gone, and I walked in and saw one of the candy ladies and I said "Would by any chance anyone have turned in a camera bag?" she looked at me and kinda smiled and said "What color?" and walking toward a counter reaching under it, and I said "Black with the word Kodak on it.... oh are you serious?" out of breathe the entire time, and she picked it up and handed it to me, all the time I am saying "oh bless you, thank you so much" she said there was a lady that saw it right after I left it almost like she saw me leave it from what I understand... and Let me tell you I didn't have a single bit of information inside that bag aside from pictures (which doesn't help) but nothing that had any information for anyone to get in touch with me or be able to contact me if it was found.... I have took care of that problem!!! It is one of those things that should have been priority but was just overlooked.... Do it if you haven't- you just never know, put your name on your bag & in it, It is well worth it!!! Needless to say we had a "exciting" moment, lol. I could barely walk after that my calves felt like they were locking up on me but I was so grateful I couldn't quit now. LOL So we decided to go to the Tanger Outlet Center Better known as DISNEY to me, lol, I mean hey that is why I come to TN to begin with, lol, we went to Bath and Body Works, Fossil- got Tiff a Auburn watch like mine and Courtney's, and Pepperidge Farm... gotta have some Goldfish, lol and then to Disney didn't really find anything new there, We finished up and headed on back to our cabin and ofcourse we stopped and got Courtney some Burger King and we made us some hotdogs, lol. The girls got in the hot tub and then got in our jacuzzi tub too, that thing is so much fun, I also started getting some things together for our trip home so that we wouldn't have a lot to do when we get ready to leave we can just get up and go and have most of it in the truck.... we stayed up pretty late, the next morning we got up and got on the road without any problems... We stopped and got lunch ofcourse we all couldn't agree on the same thing so Courtney and I got McD's and Chris and Tiff got Wendy's. God blessed us with another safe and fun trip as a family.

The Glory Revealed Tour- Awesome!!Okay... yesterday was a ton of fun... I think a few of you have already been to some of the earlier stops of the "Glory Revealed" tour so you know what I am talking about but this one was great ... again I got my entire family- yes even the hubby- another shocker- lol - I made a deal with him earlier this week- really I did!! So we were there like two hours early and when the doors opened we were handing out cards and we actually got front row seats!!! That was so cool- I was working with World Vision which I think most of my buds on here know all about because most of our Christian Groups that we love so much support them because they are amazing and do so much for so many- but anyway since we were working with them we just had to hand out some info before the concert and then before intermission we had to hand out the info packets about all of the amazing little kids everyone just as amazing as the other. I think we had a great response. I got some amazing pictures too.. Mac Powell, Shane & Shane, Brian Littrell, Candi Pearson-Shelton, Trevor Morgan, Tim Neufield and ofcourse David Nasser he was such a blessing I don't know how many times I have heard him and he is one of my all time favorites I could listen to him and Tony Nolan all day long. The night was wonderful.... and so laid back I totally enjoyed the way everyone set on the stage together and just sang all of their songs together it truly was just a night of fellowship. I also got to see a great new friend of Christ that I made recently .. Kristen which was a blessing in itself as we are totally from two different parts of the state.. She is an amazing and very strong person that I hope to get to spend more time with in the future I believe God brings those kind of people in our lives for a reason and I am truly thankful. I will be posting pics on here soon as I can download them to my computer.:)

Home at Last....Well we made it safely home... God blessed us with a Awesome trip and this was the first time I did not come home from a trip and feel so exhausted that I hit the bed as soon as I got here! We were amazed at how we felt. Infact when we left we were talking about how we hated to leave it was such an amazing place!! Later today or tomorrow I will add some pics of the amazing place we were staying at- it was great-we really didn't want to leave. This morning I did wake up with aching calves from all of the walking I have done which I didn't think I had done that much everyone was great and tried to "spare" me and would do the walking for me and let me stay back at the villa, but apparently it did get to me because I am in some rough pain in my legs. Oh I think the last day I wrote in my blog on here was the day that I took the photography class with Rich Iceland (the guy who does the Nascar photos) he is a very nice guy by the way if you ever get the opportunity to take his classes DO! But anyway after taking the classes I had ofcourse brought my cameras- the two main ones that I use the most which I like but had a few issues with because ofcourse my two main "uses" are 1- Church -all the pics needed VBS & events,etc... 2- concerts, so I have never been 100% happy with both and had issues with both in different areas so he told me about what my problems might be in that area on each of them and told me the type of camera I need and gave me a idea of which one I would get and so yesterday before we left Gatlinburg I stopped at their WalMart and I got the one I wanted!!! It is a Kodak EasyShare Z612 -And it fits on my camera dock that I already had for my camera so it works out great- and it has a ton of settings that my other one did not have too I think I am going to like this one a lot!!! I hope it lasts me a long time too. I went last night to our local WalMart and got me a neat nice Kodak bag too - I think we are going to go fishing later today so maybe I can take some pics with it there- Chris got us all fishing rods last night and renewed his fishing liscense last night, and mine never expires - one advantage to being disabled (who knew?) lol. We only have three days left counting today of our vacation together left... we gotta make the best of it... I am enjoying it.. I think we all are... I am going to try and add some pics on here later of our villa that we got too. Later.... Ok here are some pics check out the awesome cross that we always see on the way home ...

Day 2 More FunWell today was another interesting day- we had a lot of fun it was truly relaxing and that is unusual for us Infact on this day we would normally be going home or doing our stuff and then going home so to be able to relax and enjoy this day is very nice... but today was actually the day we met with the people that we had purchased our "sampler package" from in October 05 that we are staying in this Villa with and so we had a meeting with them about purchasing and we actually ended up following through I think it will be a investment for our future this place is really nice and something that we can hand down to our girls as well- we come here to the Smokies usually twice a year so the room in this villa compared to a hotel is wonderful we actually have a kitchen a full size kitchen as well as a full size living room and a master bedroom/bathroom and another bedroom with a bathroom it is great. Oh they also have great activities all throughout the day- so at 6:00 I went to the activites area because they had one right in my area... A Photography class and talk about cool- The guy who does all of the photography for Nascar actually done the class it was so cool, there were only a few of us in the class- like 6 of us, and it was so much fun and very interesting and I actually got a set of his cd/dvd's. I learned so much and will probably get a lot out of the cd/dvd's as well- that was my outlet and truly funtime I am so glad they had that!!!! I hope I am able to put that to use. It was a little over a two hour course so when I got out we were all hungry and it was a little rainy out - not bad but me and Tiff went back to the room cause I had my cameras and she had on her crocs - so we didn't want to get wet plus Chris can ofcourse walk faster without me, lol.... but he went to get a pizza and Courtney got McD's and they were back in just a few minutes.. today has been a lot of fun- we have had a lot of family time, I hope we are always a close family, and I hope the girls continue to have a close family and stay close to us when they are older and have their own families- they are growing up so fast. We are very blessed.

FUN FUN FUN Sping Break Has Begun!!!Well our trip actually started yesterday we went to church first and Chris had to do his duties and read devotion which was pretty cool he told about last weekend and how him and his kids done the scavenger hunt and at the end of it they were down to 10 minutes and had everything or thought they did and went through it and didn't have Jesus... A picture of Jesus and one of his boys said "Does it count that I have him in my heart?" which ofcourse Chris said I don't think that we can show him and the boy said " I can show by my actions" which was pretty awesome for a 7th/8th grade boy I think but they went on and did find a lady who did get them a picture of Jesus- Even though they did not show up with enough items to beat my team!!! It was a lot of fun you would be amazed at how close it brought the team too- we had to really work together on it- it was so much fun. So after church we got to leave toward Gatlinburg which we had been looking forward to this vacation it is a "sampler package" we have purchased with a location called CrownPark Resorts that we are considering purchasing and let me tell you so far we are not disapointed at all this place is awesome we bought into it at pre-build price so we like knowing what we are considering- but this place is beautiful I will post a few pics in a few days we have a fire place a kitchen the girls have their own room and their own bathroom and we have a jacuzzi tub in our room so we are relaxing for the first vacation ever that I remember, we don't feel stressed to go go go get stuff done, we are happy to stay here and relax infact last night we just walked and got some fudge and some pizza at a place we always visit when we are here Julians Pizza- he is so nice- and we brought it back here watched Facing the Giants and played rook after we ate, so it was a night! We also have 3 TV's so we can all go to our corners and get out of everyone's way- plus we have a DSL hook up for the laptop- that is how I am on the net now, loving that one too!! There isn't really anything they are lacking we have a indoor and a outdoor pool, a fitness area. They even have different things throughout the day if we want to do different activities too- like fishing and stuff like that. Well the only drawback to this thing so far is the fact that I have had a migraine for the past two days that I cannot seem to get rid of so I am praying for that to go away, so I can really enjoy this vacation. Will write more later. God bless

SilverSneakersI took a class today for SilverSneakers- actually it was SilverSneakers 2- Cardio Circuit it was a lot of fun, I had to go to the Birmingham YMCA located in the downtown area on 4th St I was really surprised there were not more people there for the actual class but I am thinking that we had 6 - and that includes two of the instructors from that specific Y, but it was so much fun I totally enjoyed it- this class is done all standing up which is unlike SilverSneakers 1 which is done mainly from you chair being a Senior class they are not all able to stand for long period some not at all but the class I learned today is for those who can- it was very interesting... But a lot of it can be incorporated into my other class as well. Oh and in other news, lol-- Cool - Chris got me a new laptop!!! He had promised to get me one for a while now since he got his actually and since mine has been overloaded with so much music and pics it has truly slowed it down so much it is unreal!!! So I was excited about getting a new one - but they had a Awesome deal at Office Max for MaxPerks Cardholders It was normally $999 for $699 deal with a Toshiba 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 1.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5200 CPU, Intel 945GM graphics, a DVD burner, and a 160GB 5,400rpm hard drive. Not to mention all of the extras - 4 USB's a media card reader and all the stuff to hook it up to the TV and all- It is so cool and I love the screen its that TruBrite Widescreen display love it... I am so proud of it- thank u Chris!!! Ur so sweet to me. Here it is....

Disciple Now Weekend
Okay I just want to say I had the BEST weekend EVER... I can say that now that I have fully recovered- I hit the bed shortly after getting home yesterday (we all did- exept for Tiff) and then got up for a very short time to eat something and then went back to bed and got up this morning I think everyone was recovered from the lack of sleep but it was worth every moment of FUN- and we are ready to do it all over again!! Just say WHEN! Ofcourse I think I had the most amazing girls they were truly the most talented and beautiful blessed girls even though I don't think they even realize it quite yet- I think my husband was very proud of his boys too- he can't quit talking about them I think he had 6 young boys I am thinking like 5th and 6th grade if I am not mistaking and they had a ton of fun together- including some shaving cream situations that almost got out of hand (woo-close call) LOL, And my girls enjoyed their group ofcourse how could they not they had Tiffany as their leader so we knew they would have a ball... they actually got to be Princesses!! Which is apropriate because I think my girls are Princesses! And they think they are Queens- LOL. On Saturday night we had an great dinner that everyone worked hard to make for us and afterwards Nate spoke to the kids an amazing sermon in between sets from an amazing band I2T aka Instructions To Timothy and they were awesome and our kids loved it!!! Afterwards we had our last lesson to our theme which was on TRUE LOVE WAITS... it went great! Then we all met over at the young boys host house for more games!!! And after that some of them left around midnight-which this was the night that time Springs forward so it was nomally like 11 but it was midnight technically- so some of them wanted to go hang out at another house but me and Kristen and Katie who had already fell asleep inside decided to go ahead and head back to our house and some of the others brought the rest of our group in later- when we woke up the next morning we had biscuits waiting on us and we were a little slow getting to church but we got there- LOL, And at the 11:00 hour after preaching which was awesome by the way- Nate got to stand up and give all of our kids their True Love Waits certificates that they had signed - It was great to see all of them up there! They all were amazing! We had a ton of fun. We hated to head home but we had a long drive ahead of us- and a lot of sleep to catch up on especially the kids and from what I understand Chris got very little- I am thinking like 7 hours in the entire weekend, lol. But he didn't complain ... (much) I think it was an Awesome event and I pray that the kids got as much out of it as the adults put into it. You guys at Mulberry Baptist Church have an amazing church! We can't wait to see you again on Wednesday. God bless

One of those WOW days...
WOW yep it was one of those days.. well we started off Sunday morning at church with what was supposed to be the usual where Chris gives his devotion which before devotion we sometimes get a few testimonies but wow the room was filled with the spirit and it was moving all around and I honestly didn't think we were going to have time for Sunday school and we even had Ronnie Young to sing for us which was a blessing as well - then when we did get around to Chris doing his devotion it had totally moved around and he ended up reading scripture from- which fell right in line- and we did our birthdays and anniversaries and went back to the classes - I had already talked to Lisa who does the primary kids class and she was going to be taking them outside to release balloons in honor of the people that lost their lives and were hurt Thursday in our tornadoes as well as the ones who were hurt in the bus accident in Atlanta - and being the one that takes the pics for our church I was ofcourse wanting to get that so I went in there and it was neat they put little pieces of paper that they had wrote little prayers or problems to release or send to God and put them on the ribbons to send off... we really enjoyed it and then we went outside at the end of the class and released them and I took some pictures of them letting them go- it was so much fun they loved it!!! When we started our morning service you could just feel it and tell it was going to be one of those days-- Chris got to do his usual from sunday school numbers and then Bill started to speak and then Spencer stood up (which he is one of our youngest amazing preachers I think he is like 13 or 14) and he was feeling it getting really excited- it was such a blessing and he preached for a few minutes - I was proud because he didn't apoligize and in the past when he has stood - when it wasn't his turn to preach he has said I am sorry but I have to say this- so it was awesome to see him go full strength like that.... then after he set down and said that was all he had Chris stood up and said he had to preach he even took his jacket... he knew he had something big this time it wasn't just a few things and sure enough he got going it was a blessing- he got started on where I was when I had the brain tumor and how it brought us back together- and what all we had to "surrender" to God to get to where we needed to be, once we did we got so many blessings, God moved in our lives and continues to - days like today remind me of where we could be and make me proud of where I am... after his service and they done a alter call a couple that had only came a couple of times and we really didn't know much about both of them came to the alter- and we didn't know until afterwards but after Chris told of our story how we were "broken" and it took my brain tumor - horrible but true and even then took time and trials before we got it all together in church (crazy huh?) but after he told of our trials as a family that we had and how we resisted even after everything we had already been through this couple is having some trials that they are trying to work through and luckily they are at church and wanting to work it together so they ARE in the right place to start- and they went to the alter, actually after he spoke of mine and Courtney's miracles in our lives they actually spoke to us afterwards - they were very interested and seemed encouraged. I am praying they keep on the right path.
We also got the BEST news I am soooo excited I am praying for wisdom and strength- a couple that we have become great friends with - through xanga- concerts etc, well anyway we have actually met them and between online devotions and meeting at concerts and stuff we have actually I guess you could say formed a close bond they are an amazing couple and they work with some amazing Youth that are going to be having an weekend event - I am not exactly sure what they call it as of yet- but we feel extrememly honored we were asked to come and help out this weekend - Friday through Sunday down in South Alabama, I would like to ask that anyone who is reading this to please pray that we are able to help out as God would have us to do and be as he would have us to be- the theme of the event is True Love Waits so as you can imagine it could be intense at times- I will be working with the 11th and 12th grade girls and my husband will be with the 11th and 12th grade boys which my house will have 9th through 12th girls in it so I will be working with them all but my teaching will be with the 11th and 12th. Please pray that I will do what God will have me to do.

Chris Tomlin How Great Is Our God Tour
Wow What a Night- It was so much fun... What an amazing concert I started my day off by doing my class at the Y I had another amazing class I had like 13 show up and they were all pumped and ready to work out I had like three who had been upstairs and working out already!! So they were a motivation to everyone so I started off by getting everyone else up to their speed and getting them up and going... and we were all on ready to get moving it was a awesome class I really was proud everyone had a great attitude today- Liz still wasn't feeling well I had spoke to her on Tuesday before class and she sounded horrible - she had had a stomach thing and on top of it a like flu thing and was taking care of a grandbaby, I pray she is recovering. We ended our class and I took off to get the girls so we could get headed to the CONCERT--WOOH! Which at this point I had already heard because of the warning watches (tornados) we were releasing them at 1pm so I went ahead and got them and I took Miss Courtney by to get her last hepatitis shot thing she was getting (precautionary only) and we hit the road - and ofcourse we went to our favorite Li'l Ceasers on the way and stopped to eat... lol, we got to Boutwell Auditorium early actually and went on backstage and hung out for a little while while waiting which is always cool because they are just doing soundchecks and stuff and u can see and hear them at this point, and closer to time we started to the front to the merch area because I wanted to catch up with the merch guy I have worked with him in the past and wanted to give him a yell. And he had a really cool system set up that I really wish all the guys would set up- infact funny I took pics so I can send the ideas to the other merch guys- hint hint. hope it works. Organization works! But unfortunately we got bad news about the tornados before the show started we had found out in our state we had tornados hit in Enterprise, AL... infact it even hit a school that was not evacuated yet and last I heard 8 were killed which in consideration of the families Chris Tomlin which ofcourse is the headliner that doesn't come out until the last of the show he came out at the beginning of the show and mixed it up a little bit and sung a few songs it was great. I believe they had a very emotional night especially when they had Louie Giglio come out and speak and Matt Redman was great-with Chris Tomlin too and ofcourse when it all ended we got blew away at the merch tables once again. The girls really enjoyed working with me again too- they done great ofcourse they are turning into pros too! I think they are enjoying it as much as I do now. We hung around for a little while till it died down and we were the only ones left and started closing down and breaking everything down counting them out- We got out of there and headed toward home and stopped at Waffle House in Attalla before we actually got home which was a lot of fun having someone with me - the girls really enjoyed it I think and I think by the time we got home they were ready to hit the pillow- which we all did. It was a great night- we really enjoyed it- we prayed and are continuing to pray for all the families that have a loss because of the tornadoes. Our picture unfortunately not so good I usually use my camera which I know very well but this time my daughters camera was used which I don't know any of the settings and I don't know what was wrong but most of her pictures turned out very blurry so I am not posting it on here... as you would not be able to make it out. Lol... God bless

How Awesome is Our God
This really is mind boggling!
Hard to even imagine.
HOW AWESOME IS OUR GOD!
Now, THIS is really fascinating. It is rather dazzling to see it presented this way.
Antares is the 15th brightest star in the sky. It is more than 1000 light years away from earth. Light years is a convenient way for astronomers to express vast, otherwise unimaginable distances.
It means that if you left the earth for Antares in a space ship that could travel at the speed of light, which is 186,000 miles per second, it would take you more than 1000 years to get to Antares. How fast and how far is that really?
Well, if you left earth on this imaginary space ship trip to Antares traveling at the speed of light, you would reach the moon in about 1.3 seconds. At just 2 seconds into your flight, the moon would now be 148,000 miles behind you and planet earth would be 372,000 miles behind you.
You still have over a 1000 years of flying time to go to reach Antares. And it is a nonstop flight, so better pack a big lunch. The universe is so vast, that it is not comprehensible by the human mind. It would be like an ant trying to understand the wonder of the Internet. It can't be done. But we try anyway. Glory to God!

Winter Jam Tour February 9, 2007 Well I was a little late on posting this blog but finally I am getting around to it... we had a Awesome night Friday at the Winter Jam Tour it was especially fun for me because this time around I got to have my entire family work the event with me and when I got there not only that but when they asked around who wanted to work with who or where I asked about Steven Curtis Chapman because I have worked with him quite a few times and actually just worked his table at the Christmas tour with Mercy Me and him when they were here in December so I was very familiar with his merch... and I asked how many they needed for his table and he said 4 so it worked out perfectly and when we got there at the table it was awesome because it just so happen to be a merch guy that I happened to have worked with quite a few times in the past he is the merch guy for Castings and was helping Steven's guy out so that was Awesome. Which just a few minutes after we started the concert (which meant our table was a bit slow anyway) one of the girls who is in charge of everything came and asked me to help out on getting the money together that had came in which was a lot of fun- it actually took a while a lot longer than I would have thought but it was really a lot of fun too- funny what all got thrown in there we even had a few Chuck E Cheese tokens in there! LOL, But I was done just in time for Steven Curtis Chapman which was my goal especially since I was working his table but I wanted to hear him too- he puts on the best show it is amazing. I have heard it a few times but it gets better every time. Oh and I got the coolest shirt too- it has his logo and his name on it but you can turn it inside out and it is like a whole new shirt with his sons band on it -"The Following" which they were their as well and they sang a few songs as well - we had their cd too- it went really quick. We had a awesome night though and we got to meet up with some friends that we have talked to online for a while through our blogs- we have only met one of them before this night but I have felt as if I have known them for a very long time, I feel that God has brought us together as friends, they are a blessing to us and I hope we continue to get to know them. I think Chris really enjoyed this night more than he has the other concerts he has went to with me but he only went with me to Third Day and he actually worked Joel Osteens but I think he got a lot out of this one I am so proud of my girls too they did so well at everything and really enjoyed it I am so blessed to have such an amazing giving family- they jumped in and helped me when I asked them too. God is so good.

God is GoodWell this weekend started off kind of rough as Friday I had my first appointment at Kirkland Klinic Pain Treatment center which I honestly wanted to call and cancel but if I did I would just have to reschedule and do it because my neurologist really wanted me to do this which I know he is probably right I know that 3 migraines a week and the arthritis/avascular necrosis pain that I have all throughout causes me to have to take a lot of medication so if I could do something to help this I would love to find it but I have family members who I have seen go through things with other "pain centers" that it seems has only made them almost become more "immune" to pain help. It is as if what used to help them does not work for them and they only take more pain medication now than they did when they started and I do not want to get in that position. My migraines are already "disabling" to me and I do have to drop everything and just lay down and take my meds usually I get a cold compress cold room quiet room and just shut myself from the world for a while until it all goes away... I know I think I blogged about the incident a few months back where I had the migraine/headache nonstop for over a month and it was like a scare for me because of the tumor and my doctor ordered a MRI- we had prayer at church- Praise God it was okay - there was no explanation for that - the doctor said it could have just been stress at the time we were working on our play at church which was actually exciting too as well as being a little tough so I really don't know what caused the length and severity of it... but anyway back to the appointment it was actually at 9 am and I got there at like 8:15 signed in and got called back pretty quickly but you know how they work you see the college students "working with them" before you see the doctors so I saw two ladies a few times before I saw her and this was over almost a two hour period because I didn't actually meet the doctor until like almost 11... she apoligized she was doing one of those pain blocks on someone and it ran a little late or something like that. After reviewing what all I had told the other girls she asked me a few things and she asked did I have a driver which was me.... so not the way she was asking, lol. She wants to do two "pain blocks" there was a better name for them in my head one in the back right and one almost above my right eyebrow as this is where I feel sharp pains with my migraines these shots are similar to a "epidural" shot but ofcourse in my head that is why I could not drive for a while... and she said that I would either do very well or not have results at all - we would know if it would work or not. She wants to try them and it sounds scary but I think after hearing her I want to try it she said some people have good results for a while and when it wears off- sometimes after weeks or months I can get another, so I can come by when I have a driver and get them, and believe me before my tumor and all I believe it or not used to faint from getting a stick to get get blood out of my finger much less shots but I have learned to "deal" with things by the Grace of God, he gets me through it one day at a time. Also she ordered me some physical therapy actually it is aquatic therapy -with massage for my shoulders and head... and a tens unit for my head she said this should help me too it sounded like it would be helpful as well, so I am going to give it all a try and pray for some results. I am excited and hopeful. So that was my trip to the dr. What a day. Then we have Saturday which was an exciting day as well we have the Y to begin with where we are having a "Jump In" Disney Premier Party where I told them I would be there at noon to help with and I get there but the other person who is supposed to be there is not there she has went to get the food for the kids... so I start decorating and getting our kids together and doing some fun stuff.. we had our jump ropes so we got to do a little double dutch which they were all really good at and I gave them tattoos and magnets as well, we had a few more kids than I expected because the Y had basketball games going on and some of the kids came in there with us. However we had some communication problems with the front desk and the one who was getting the food and that did not work out for us correctly and it was a long day for us there but the girls helped me out with all of the kids and we all watched the movie and everyone enjoyed it and loved the double dutch jump roap. We left from there and went over to Bobby's and had a ton of fun everyone was there I could not believe how many actually showed up there were only a few who didn't we had a great crowd some of them I had not seen in forever- everyone is growing up all of our kids are growing up it was like our kids are where we used to be. Bobby looked great, everyone was taking pictures and I got email addresses so hopefully they will send me some I was so tired from the Y and took so many over there I didn't even get mine out -which they said they would send me some! It truly was a blessing to get everyone together- I hope they do it again it is probably the first time they have had that many together since back when Grandma Aaron had been alive I would guess, some of these grandkids just now met for the first time. Wow! It was a great night. Sunday was ofcourse a great day- church was wonderful- Chris went into Tommy's class today I think he has officially made himself a member of that class and really enjoys it in there, I like the Ladies class too they are all so sweet there were not but three in there today aside from me though- a very small class. We had a great Youth Sunday they all sang Tiffany sang great today I think it was one of the best for her she was very confident. I am so proud of my girls they are so amazing. Bro Ronnie (the bread man, lol) preached. Our night service was good too Bro Bill preached for it. It was a great weekend. We are so blessed. And today the girls are out for MLK holiday. By the way for those who are reading on one blog and prefer the other I have both just im or message me for the other I have myspace & xanga.

Praise GodThank You so much for your prayers I know I handed it over to him and he answered my prayer. It was a rough night of sleep without a doubt. I don't even know what time I got to sleep on Tuesday night but thank goodness I finally did and Wednesday I checked the girls out of school around 10 because her EEG wasn't until 1 and I figured we could go eat somewhere on the way which we did there is a Lil Ceasers in Trussville inside a Kmart that we have always enjoyed stopping in when we get the opportunity, so we went there. We went on to Children's Hospital and actually got there about 20 minutes early but I couldn't remember right off where the EEG department was because usually when she had a EEG we were actually doing it as a "impatient" procedure so I had to find it. But we found it easily actually. They got her back there within just a few minutes. She was back there I guess 35 or 45 minutes- they done the thing where they get her to breathe really hard for a few minutes and then they done the bright lights because sometimes these are situations that cause seizures in people so they wanted to see how her brain reacted during those times. Her Dr appt was at 2:30 and I think we got there 10 minutes early we were called back and if you have ever done the clinic thing at Children's you know the drill the doctors have a team so team member #1 comes in and she does her thing- asks questions basics like history what meds she takes how school is going and such, then checks her reflexes which is always humbling because there was a day when Courtney was just almost 4 and they would try to check her reflexes and she did not have any- that was the scariest hardest thing to watch I still remember it almost like a movie playing in my mind. I was so defenseless and she was so weak- but now she is so strong and amazing- then we had team member #2 who more or less just confirmed everything the first one asked and told me the Dr would be in soon which almost as soon as she closed the door the Dr knocked on the door and the first team member came in with him as well, and he shook hands with us both and asked how we were doing and then he asked the GOLDEN question "So do I understand you are considering finding another neurologist?" At which point I let it all out... I explained my concerns that in the future (not near she is only 15) that she will be considering child bearing (way down the road) and that we will need medication monitored as usually you need to be taken off of your siezure medication before even trying to do anything like that... not to mention she needs to make sure she has the right dosage at all times with her weight that isn't necessarily something a regular doctor can do... and ofcourse a big concern I was 5 when I started having migraines and have seen a neurologist off and on for years but I didn't get a brain tumor until the age of 28 I personally think a neurologist when you have neurological problems is a very important thing... I went on for a few minutes about that - I even told him that my neurologist agreed with me on it and told me that she needed one but that he could not yet take her on as an "adult" neurologist as of yet but she should have continuous neurological care - not just regular pediatric care. Okay so when he spoke again he stated that he said that as long as she had been without seizures that he thought it is possible that she would be alright to be taken off of the medication slowly ofcourse but that it would be something that I would have to decide with him to do... and I told him that I at this time did not feel comfortable doing that just right now.... he said just over the next year think about it and a big reason too to think about it was that you cannot come off of the medication quickly you have to be tapered off of the medication and it will be a very long process so we want to make sure it is done carefully and within a monitored process and long before she is in that time we spoke of before which is way off anyway. He apoligized and told me that if i didn't want her to be released that he understood and that he didn't mean for me to feel that he was just dropping her like that.... and if I wanted to transfer to someone else he understood but if I wanted to continue with him he would be glad to... he was very nice about it and I said as long as you won't let her go all of a sudden and he laughed and said "no he wouldn't do anything like that" I was so thankful it was much easier than I expected, a lot of tension was off of me- He then went and checked and He said Her EEG was NORMAL!!!! So that was a blessing! I am so happy to have gotten through this with her doctor in place, lol I have stressed over this since the past appt. I am so glad it all worked out. Thanks so much for everyones prayers!!

God Will Get Us Through ItOk It is currently 1:29 in the morning on Wednesday and I cannot sleep - First let me say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Tiffany who I am very proud is 14 years old as of today WOW!!!! I am having a hard time getting to sleep I think partly because my medicine is messed up a bit and too I am taking Courtney for her first EEG in 9 years which I know God is in control and he is taking care of her and we know she has not had any visible seizure in over 10 years I truly don't think she has had one at all in that time... Only God knows for sure but I believe he has taken care of her every moment through it all through every one of those seizures It still blows my mind to think we lived through over 2000 and YES that is TWO THOUSAND PLUS seizures a day... I would usually lose count after that... or give up trying to keep them all wrote down- I know without a doubt it all happened for a reason and her life is a true testimony. She is an amazing Young Lady. As are both my girls. I am just a little bit stressed today in particular because the last time we were at the doctor that we are going to today at Children's Hospital we saw a new Neurologist because her neurologist that she had for many years went to another hospital not near here this new neurologist was a somewhat young one compared to the two that we have had over the past 12 years and after speaking with him for a very short time he told me that he thought it would be okay to just release her from the neurologist dept. completely and let her "general" doctor prescriber her seizure medication for her from here on out and ofcourse I disagreed and was very concerned at which point he said we could come back for her next appt. and decide then and also we could "at my request" have a EEG just to make sure there are no "abnormalities" - at which point he would probably let her go. I have been praying about this and do pray that he has a totally different attitude about this today I even spoke with my own neurologist about this last week he totally agreed that she will be going through a lot of changes and not to mention it will not be too long before she will even need to consider needing an adult neurologist to get her through the child bearing years and all that she will go through as an adult- because she will have to consider her medication through it all- but so I am trying to just hand it all over to God- I have to I need to get some sleep!!! I am making Tiffany's birthday cake too so I am "multitasking" as well, lol. For all those who read this Keep us in your prayers for God's will to be done. I will update asap. God bless.

So Blessed
I cannot believe this year is coming to an end...
What an amazing year it has been. First of all Our Christmas was so amazing our girls loved their Christmas which they have always enjoyed Christmas they opened their MP3 Players a few days early- they ended up getting a portable DVD player and a laptop as their big gifts along with lots of Victoria Secret and Bath & Body Works stuff along with all of their other goodies that they got everywhere else. They are amazing girls. They are enjoying their time out of school they have been going with me to the Y and they have actually been particapating in my classes and having fun their we have done a lot of stuff since they have been out and we still have another week to go! Tomorrow night is the Church lock-in that we Volunteered to help out with for the first time ever... the girls have always went but we have never been as involved with the youth as we are this year so we actually stepped up and volunteered to help out so no sleep tomorrow night! Looking forward to it... LOL.... no really! I think I am. It should be a memorable experience. Oh I have been working in my Sunday School class too that I mentioned a few weeks ago I like it they are all so sweet... I enjoy it I know tomorrow is our "Youth Sunday" so we get one of our Youth to teach our class so I am letting Tiffany (my youngest) do my class I think that will be fun for her, this will be a first for her to do a class by herself we usually get them to do a class together but her sister is going to be doing another class with my husband so they will be seperate for a first but we will each be with one of them so it will work out if they need any help.
I Hope everyone has a Blessed New Year!!!

"The Perfect Gift" Our Christmas Play
What a blessing it has been and I cannot believe the day is over now but it was today at 5 pm Our Christmas Play at our Church... Which incase you have not been reading my blog me and my husband have had the joy of directing this play... and before this year we had no idea what that consisted of it was a Learning process and we loved it I think we can say that now that we actually survived the process Can't we? Infact now there are many things we would be able to do differently and hopefully better to begin with since we made it through, it's as if only we knew then what we know now, lol. Our kids were amazing today- well I say kids but we had kids of All ages I said in the program Youth and Young at Heart as well.. that summed it up to me because we had all ages involved and we could not have done it without any of them not to mention all of the help we recieved from all of our church Our music director is amazing we have an amazing lady who shows up any time we do anything and is there filling up drinks cleaning the kitchen for us cleaning everywhere and you know we have a mess with all the kids, she does it all, we have a guy who does so much with the props and gets all the stuff from around his house- so won't accept any pay- we have so many I don't even know where to start those are just the beginning Our YOUTH are flowing as well and we have so many little ones I cannot wait to see them come up because we have a lot of little ones sprouting that have just been born even in the past month even!!! It is so exciting and makes me want to more with the youth in the future hopefully we will get the opportunity.. I do hope that we get our visitors to return they really enjoyed visiting and I gave them my number so maybe we will be seeing them again. I am so thankful for everything God showed us through this play and the kids as well because I really feel like he was there through it all and got us through it. Thank you Jesus becuause you truly are The Perfect Gift.

It actually is split 3/1 3-Auburn girls and 1 Georgia Daddy it was actually a pleasant weekend last weekend considering Georgia won ... it would have been the opposite had they not... funny how he can make it very unpleasent for us if they loose. But he has a way! YOU KNOW YOU DO!!! But I do hope today is OUR day... I think he knows it may be. We already have our shirts on.. I wonder if he planned to work today to avoid the game? We will see he has a little more time... we will see.. lol.Oh Yeah! What can I say.... How about that? 22-15 Nothing to that thumb now huh? Veterans Day 11/12Ok again a few days late on this... Saturday we made a few calls and checked to see if anyone was doing anything at our church for our Veteran's for Veteran's Day but there didn't seem to be anyone so we realized that Chris being Sunday School Superintendant that it would probably fall in his area or atleast we wanted to do it anyway... we had some ideas and he had some ideas for his devotion for it that were along that lines so we took it and ran with it... I took some peppermints and put them in a clear small bag with a blue ribbon and a note attached that said Thanks for all u do and Happy Veterans Day, God bless You from Our Church.. and Chris had already found a poem that he wanted to use in his devotion, unfortunately even with help from Tiffany I was up until 2 am doing this... along with the folders for our play that Chris and I have gotten together for Christmas ... that took alot of time too I guess... but it was fun too! So Sunday finally got here... lol -finally? I closed my eyes for 3 minutes I think- lol- We got up and got going. We decided to make coloring sheets the night before so before sunday school we handed them out to the teachers and asked them to get their kids to color them and that after they come out for the worship hour we would get them to give them to the Veterans along with the candy we made up. Which we also got a very nice poem given to us from one of the church members called "The Soldier" and my husband asked me if I would read it so I did... we came out he done the usual announcements and started the service with some words then we had Diane lead us in the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" then I said the poem. Today Tiffany sung her new song for the first time ever! It is called "How Could You Say No This Man?" She done so good.. I loved it... I am so so so so so Proud of her. My girls are amazing girls! They truly are a blessing. To top off church we had one of our youth Dakota to preach and he was a blessing as well. We met with our youth afterwards and asked them to meet with us on Sunday night after church to give them their parts but it ended up we only had a very few show up so we just asked them to be there at 5:30 on Wednesday for play practice. It was a very interesting day. God is Good

Jesse Duplantis Event 11/10 Birmingham
Well I am really slow on posting this week... but here goes. Jesse Duplantis to Birmingham November 10th and ofcourse I get my volunteer info in the mail... we have to meet at the Sheraton the night before for some basic info and to get our name tags... etc, ok now the day of the event is here... we have to be at the media entrance at 5:30 p.m. and we meet up and get placed in certain areas which I got placed in the floor area... second set of seats front corner there where we will be distributing the offering envelopes and buckets when the time comes around. I have to tell you the group of people that were volunteers for this were some awesome people, there were so many who showed up we had some who showed up with groups from their churches, It was a blessing. He brings his own people for his merchandise which ofcourse is my "normal" area that I prefer. But I cannot complain with the seats I had, lol. But everyone got to come inside for the event we all had seats and ofcourse could seat someone with us if we brought someone.... and I couldn't believe it my mother who had spoken of this man and how funny he is and how she enjoys hearing him for years but I call her and tell her she can be my guest and she is thrilled infact she couldn't wait... this was the night before- I was so happy we don't do alot together it's somewhat hard to get her out and about with me sometimes but just a few hours before time to go to the event she called and canceled on me, a zillion excuses none worth not spending mother daughter time to me! LOL.. maybe next time around I hope. But anyway I ended up going on by myself... They got started at 7 with some great live music... there was a guy there Tye- I didn't realize he sung because he actually spoke with us the night before when we were "training" but he was a great singer and there was an amazing group of singers like two female vocals and another female vocal also on keyboard and I am thinking another male on drums they were amazing all together though, they started off with that song I think it is called "Trading My Sorrows" ofcourse we kind of know it more as "yes lord" at our church because our kids do little motions to it and that is the big part that we all love the motions to, lol, apparently we aren't the only ones because I saw some of those motions there at the event! They sung about 5 or 6 songs I really don't know, then he came out to the audience and touched alot of lives, there was alot of movement going on, Then he got serious with a discussion about how God has blessed him in abundance and can bless us too! I had not heard alot of what he had been through in his life before this experience and I learned alot! We took up offering soon after this... It was about 8:45 before he actually got to the message which was too about how God will bless you ... And he was ofcourse just as funny in person as he was on television. It was a "different" experience than I expected, but it was a experience that I will remember.

Third Day Concert/Silver Sneakers Class
Tonight we had a ton of fun, We actually got to go as a "family" which is something we don't get to do very often because I always work the venues but this time around I got to get us tickets and didn't have to work because we had enough volunteers for the event. Third Day in Birmingham but that wasn't until the end of the day So today first off I had my Silver Sneakers class which went Awesome I really enjoyed it... at first I was a little caught "off guard" I guess you could say as I have not been the instuctor in this class very long but when I got down stairs there were two college students waiting to sit in and take the class with me for the day... Cool but a little nerve wracking, lol. I said a little prayer in my head and went on in thinking "ok I can do this" and thank God I was prepared like so far I have been... I get there early so that I can have everyone's seats where they need to be and all their equipment ready as well as a few extra seats just incase we have someone come in late.... it works out well, So far! And I can get my music going (All That Jazz!) That way I am not still scrambling when we are supposed to be actually having class! But it was a great class.. no problems.. I enjoyed it and I think everyone else did too, I had a new lady come from another area that we met Wednesday to take her first ever Silver Sneakers class with me today so that was cool to have someone for the first time ever, lol. I had 4 in the class and 2 "students". Afterwards I went over to the college where they were having a luncheon and also doing a "birthday" thing for Liz, I got there late but just in time to hear a preacher and his wife from First Baptist speak they were so funny... I really enjoyed it. I think Liz really enjoyed her surprise too her birthday isn't until the 11th so she had no idea. After I left I ran by the house and changed out of my gym clothes then picked up the girls and we went to meet Chris and headed to the concert - we stopped on the way and ate Lil Ceasers, we got to the concert before the doors opened and caught up with another one of my friends who actually usually works too but they wasn't working this one either so we sat with them both of our tickets were on the floor level right there in front of the stage not too far back... but we was really surprised that there were not more people at the event I mean we are talking about Third Day!!! They actually made a comment about this being the least amount of people as far as any show so far... like "What's up Birmingham?" Which it wasn't us... we were there, lol. But it was a awesome concert, they are such an amazing group! I totally recommend you seeing them if you have the opportunity!

My 15 Year High School Reunion
Today I went to my 15 Year High School Reunion (WOW) at West End High School, we got to have it at the cafeteria this time around... and we got to "tour" the school since they have rebuilt it. Infact the cafeteria and what we considered as the "new gym" is all that is the same... which the gym has actually had some work since we were there and is now considered the "old gym", we had a pretty good turn out I think... I missed a lot of people though I really wish that would have been there. But I was proud to see the ones that I did! And some of the ones that I didn't I still got updates on them- the coordinators for the event put us together a great book with everyones address, email, phone or whatever information everyone was willing to share. (I think there were quite a few that we didn't get information back on at all so if you are a part of that group and you read this let me know your info and I will send it along to everyone on the email lists I have..) I am proud that I went to school with a great group that continues to care about each other and wants to keep in touch. God bless.

Kutless Opening Night Youthquake
Wow Yesterday Was so much fun well I started my day off really early as soon as the girls left for school I got ready and headed to Cullman Fairgrounds for Youthquake 2006.. which had the best lineup... Kutless! Disciple! Run Kid Run! Red! Candlefuse! and Ohio Avenue! and not to forget guest speaker Scott Dawson! It didn't actually start until 5:00 but I needed to get there at 9:00 to help out somebody has to feed all the workers and the bands when they get there, so I got there a little early no problem finding it, I was really surprised not to see any signs for it anywhere along the way though I asked some of the "locals" about was there any signs in the area and they said there actually was a billboard somewhere so I must have just not came in the direction of the sign because I missed it. But anyway we had the breakfast of champions lined up... Krispy Kreme donuts, cereal (lots of different kinds in little boxes to choose) bagels, bread with a toaster to toast, jelly or peanut butter too, cocoa and Starbucks coffee, And ofcourse coke, dr pepper, sprite, the basic line up there. Most of the "crew" came through for coffee I think everyone just wanted to get woke up, a few ate a donut but I think most of them were just trying to get warmed up for the morning. So we had a little while before we had a runner pick up lunch which was "Williams B-B-Q" for the groups so we cleaned up our breakfast and ordered our volunteers pizza to be delivered there, so right around the same time all the groups would be eating we could start feeding all of the volunteers could eat before they all get "busy". Which worked out pretty well just about everyone came in so we was able to feed them all it was cool I didn't really know all the bands so it was cool to get to know them just casually before I even see them in there "stage" look everyone is so humble and laid back they are all a blessing to get to know, Everyone seemed pretty happy with the lunch arrangements afterterwards I was able to take time to eat lunch myself and then we cleaned up while they were starting their sound checks which apparently were a little loud- OFCOURSE!!! It was KUTLESS, LOL but anyway an older man who I did not recognize came in and started saying "If they don't turn it down we are going to call the police we are playing Bridge and they are too loud" and he turned around and walked out, he was upset so I tried calling the guy who is over it who wasn't answering his phone... then I went outside to find him or someone in charge and as I did... a police car came up along beside me and another girl who was working with me and he stated that if we would just try to keep it down a bit he understood we really couldnt that he just had to come out when they made a complaint and just try to ease of for a bit... so I went to the guy with the soundboard and told him so he said we had a permit so more or less we got back going within a few minutes.... when the officer got out of site, lol. Which he circled us often and from what I understand we had to get another permit of some kind, but we made it through the day! The sound check was awesome luckily Kutless went through theirs before the most part of the "incident" so we got a good show! It was cool seeing everyone else because some of them I had never seen before, so it was cool seeing them "goofing" off. They were all awesome. Even though I had been in catering all day I had the opportunity to work with Kutless for the night which was ofcourse right next to the stage and Hello! It was Kutless!!! So I took that and ran.. I have to admit this was a little different I have done merch in a lot of places.. inside the venue buildings... outside in parks... all kinds of things but this concerned me a bit to begin with the guy gave me a orange vest and a little flashlight... flashlight.... I was a bit concerned about the light thing... but I knew God would get us through the night. They opened the gates and people started coming on in . They had a radio station from the area I think it was called "The Fix" and ofcourse WDJC had Jon and Justin were there. (missed Ya Cari from WDJC) I know one of the most rewarding moments for me was when one mother walked up still hanging on to her son still in tears after walking from the "alter call" and another woman telling me her daughter was one of the ones who went forward, this is the reason we do the concert. The weather was great we had a little rain off and on.. which was bad because the merch wasn't under tents at all... so when it started to rain we started putting some of it under the tables and folding the table clothes over the tables but it wasn't a horrible rain just a steady stream. The funniest thing was right before Kutless was about to end their set which ofcourse meant we were going to get hit the hardest we trip a breaker or a fuse blows or something so no lights... when we needed them the most! So our merch guy goes to check it out and figures out we have to many connections linked to it, too many people hooked into our bus, he didn't know they did so it was like a overload well to top that off he sprung his ankle while he is trying to check all of this out, so we our down by our "main" guy, lol but not to bad of a deal because both me and one more of the girls at this table happen to be "pros" we have been working with "Real Life Promotions" for quite a few years now and could probably both do all this stuff in our sleep it's just a matter of figuring out which method of how they all do it, so luckily he got us of to a good start, So we got hit pretty hard after the concert ended but it flew by ofcourse, then Kutless done autographs right there infront of our table and ofcourse by the time they came out there was a long line waiting for them, they spent time with everyone who waited there in line and we did a count on all of the merchandise and got it put up, and here's the extra special good part that makes it all worth while..... then they came up to us each and personally signed a poster for us all that helped and spoke with us all for a little bit and thanked us all. It was a wonderful end to a great event.

End Of Vacation Week Well it truly has been a Awesome week... we started it off with the Auburn game on Saturday then we went to Gatlinburg from Sunday to Tuesday with our Seniors from church and we then had the rest of the week until today to spend together before Chris has to go back to work tomorrow... But I truly feel like we have spent time together and enjoyed the time together... so that is good. We always try to make the most of our time together, and I do feel like we did, that is why he planned his days during fall break when the girls were out from school, and that works for us great. I think he got a little bit of stuff done around here outside that he wanted to do too. Now we have to get back in to the normal routine. Tonight we had a great night at church we had a lot of people there, we have had a lot of people on our night services in the last few months- I remember when we first started a few years ago there were not many people there on a Wednesday or Sunday night service we have been so blessed not only with a lot of people but we have so many youth now. I hope we continue to grow in Christ as a church.

Gatlinburg / Fall BreakWell I am a few days late on this one as the girls went back to school on Wednesday but we went to Gatlinburg for a trip with the seniors with our church they actually went on our church bus on Monday for a overnight trip but we left a day early on Sunday and it was actually the first time to drive up in Chris's truck which we had a ton of room in compared to the past few trips in my Mustang... which if you are going to go for room in "looks arent everything" so this time around we enjoyed that factor and we arrived early enough to hang out on Sunday night and at the end of the night we actually ended up "camping out" in the truck at the end of the Wal-Mart parking lot where some other RV's and campers were actually already set up as well- we have tinted windows already but we also put blankets up in the windows to keep the lights out, then we set up our laptop and watched movies too, I was actually the first one to fall asleep then I think the girls but I think Chris actually had the hardest time getting to sleep, he said it was like 4 a.m. before he got there. But overall it truly wasn't too bad ... then we got up and breakfast was not too far away actually at the end of the parking lot... Chick-fil-A, from there we went on into Pigeon Forge ofcourse I had to check out the Disney Store... that is always a must when we get into the area.. we picked up some cute little goodies for one of the ladies at church well I guess you would say for her baby girl to be. We just checked out a few places in the area then we got some lunch and headed into Gatlinburg to our hotel a little early where we wanted to find out when we could check in but they had a room ready so they went ahead and let us check in. We got to do some walking that evening on the strip which was alot of fun, we didn't really get too tired we kind of done it at our own pace so it wasn't too bad, We also got to go by our Favorite Pizza Place there on the strip we always go by there Julian's Pizza he always remembers us because we always go when we are in town. The next morning we had already agreed to meet at the Pancake Pantry which we had never eaten at so when we got up we just went on down there and some of the crew was already down there, all four of us got some kind of pancakes... I got silver dollar pancakes they were just the right size for me, we all loved their pancakes they were soooo good we all agreed we are going to have to remember this place when we go back- I know last year we had went to a place which we thought would be really good Smoky Mountain Pancakes which turned out to not be really so good and was really expensive... didn't live up to the "hype" we were so disapointed on that one, but Pancake Pantry- Highly Recommended. After we left there we went back to the hotel where we sit on the balcony with the rest of everyone from our church for a while which was so much fun I have to tell you it was truly one of the best times from the entire trips.... we were just having a good ole time of fellowship I guess you would say, everyone cutting up and getting along before they got on the bus to head back. After they got on the bus to start out we went back to our room to pack up and started out which ofcourse meant we had to stop in Pigeon Forge and get Tiffany and Chris hotdogs and rootbeer at A & W we always make a point to stop there too. Our trip home didn't really seem to take as long as it took to get there it never does. But this was a awesome blessed trip. I really enjoyed it and the rest of the week Chris has been off for his vacation so I have gotten to spend time with him here too so that has been extra special as well!

Football / GodstockWow What a Day.... Ok first of all we got up really early... I have had plans for quite a while Godstock tonight.... but we had a "opportunity" Thanks you know who you are ... to get a good price on some Auburn Vs Arkansas tickets for this morning at 11 am... which meant we needed to get on the road pretty early 5:30 AM to be exact to meet to pick up the tickets then go on to the game from there... ofcourse stopping for breakfast on the way and all as well. Well we do the game thing OFCOURSE I am a huge Auburn fan the hubby well he is a Georgia fan bigtime and prefers Alabama over Auburn but he was for Auburn in this case... but this game did not go in the Auburn favor this time around it was sad very sad the end of the game was like 27-10 which we ended up leaving a little early not only because of the way things were going but also because I had to get back home and get my girlies and get to Godstock which I did and we got there just in time and right as the gates were opening!! It was great... My main focus ofcourse was to see Bethany Dillon- because the last time we saw her was when we catered for her all day of the Cullman concert and my youngest daughter had the opportunity to spend alot of with her and got the "bug" and started singing soon after in church "All I Need" It was tonight on the way home that she said that if she had not met her she didn't think she would have ever started singing. I am very thankful for her influence on her! She has been a blessing in her life. She is so amazing how she gets up there and really relates to the girls. Well I will try to post a picture later in the week after we get back from the senior gatlinburg trip with church but I am so tired I just had to post before I forget just how wonderful today was. Hope everyone has a blessed weekend.

Update About Life...Well... Okay for everyone I have talked to and those I havent had the opportunity to I will be updating you I guess... I am doing much better this would be a Praise Report... the past month and a half was rough for about two weeks straight I had a migraine 24/7 which kept me in the house unable to do anything more or less... and it got me ofcourse due to my history a little concerned... I kept the faith ... I never said the words aloud... my husband finally asked me was I worried because of my history .... that was pretty much all he said .... for those that don't know let me explain a bit ... January 2nd 2000 I was taken to the hospital because I was slipping into a coma, I had been "sleeping" off a migraine for 3 days and was pretty out of it and my family was concerned and took me and that is where they did the cat scan and detected the Brain Tumor... You can read more about it on my myspace page ( www.myspace.com/tamilynn316 ) ok back to now... but ofcourse in the back of my mind ofcourse knowing what I went through I have the common sense to be tested asap or I felt like I should just to get it off of my mind and not worry about it on top of my migraine, so I went to the Cancer Center and my doctor had suggested a MRI to get it out of the way one way or the other, and I am proud to say that it came back clear, I still continued with the migraines for a little while non stop he tried some shots but they didnt work either. I up until just until two weeks ago was still having them every day but am proud to say I am actually getting them back to "normal" for me, you have to remember for me that "normal" is a average of 3 a week that I can usually get under some control with medications, God is so good. Keep me in your prayers. I know he is watching over me.

"We Saw Jesus"
CAMP SONRISE PICTURES
Preface:
In our Tuesday evening devotion, the campers had been asked to symbolize their commitment to Christ by laying a crown, which they had previously decorated, on the rock altar in the prayer garden. One by one 70+ young people, the youngest 1 ½ and the oldest 13, and several adults approached the rock altar and randomly laid their crowns there. Only after the last crown was laid was the image on the cross noticed.
The Image:
The image seen in the pictures was just as visible in person. It was created by the shadow cast by the crowns from a flood light that was about 10 feet away. There was no attempt to manipulate the crowns to cause this; the crowns were just as the kids laid them. The image remained visible for more than 30 minutes, in which time there were prayers offered, tears shed and a deep peace that settled on all of us. The image did not change until all of the young people were in the dorm for the night. About five minutes after the last camper was in the dorm the crowns settled and the image went away.
The Pictures:
The Crown Laying – After all of the young people had placed their crowns, Bro. Bill Lackey knelt and placed his. This was the last of about 80 crowns placed on the rock.
The Image – There are two pictures, one from about 20 feet away showing the complete cross, the rock altar with the crowns on it and the image. The second picture shows a closer view of the image. The cross is constructed of 4X6 treated lumber and has a coat of white primer paint on it. The only lighting is the above mentioned floodlight. The crowns are gold covered pasteboard, similar to the crowns given away at Burger King.
What Was It? – All who view these pictures will answer this question for their selves. Our opinion is that God honored the commitments of these children with His own special appearance. By the reaction of everyone who was present, the consensus was that this was an image of Jesus.

YMCA
Well I finally got a little motivation- okay maybe it was more like I found myself at home without my girls all alone missing them and knew I needed to do something or I was going to go nuts... so I thought maybe I should put that membership thing that Medicare had sent me for the YMCA that I actually activated in June but ofcourse was too busy with my girls to use, so I went by on Thursday and started my Silver Sneakers classes which are on Tuesday and Thursdays and they are somewhat like what I went through after my hip replacement we sit on the end of a chair through most of it "thank God" and we use our muscles, not a easy task for me especially for my hip muscles and legs which I am now realizeing how weak they really are - the avascular necrosis causes the bones to deteriorate and aparently they are also wearing down and I need to strengthen them too, get them as strong as I can for what I do have left, couldnt hurt. I went really slow I had to there was alot I couldnt do because of the hip replacement but there was only like 5 of us so that was good. I really was tired at the end of the class but I felt like I had accomplished something! Then this morning I went to my first arthritis water class- it was alot of fun, very hard- I had to hold on to the side to keep my balance because of my hips and all and there was alot again I could not do because of the hip but it felt so rewarding when I was done-these classes are on Monday -Wednesday- and Fridays so this will be my entire week, and I think it will be good for me in turn. I am glad I found something to do as well. I also went on Wednesday and just walked on the treadmill which was just tiring but I really enjoy the classes the best. I look forward to keeping them up.

School's Back -Miss my girls already- Well Yesterday My girls both went back to school I was happy that now they are both in high school together but wow I was hit kind of hard it was like my goodness it was all over so quickly.... I think I enjoyed the summer more than they did! We had a great summer, we bought season passes to Alabama Adventures AKA Visionland, so we were up there on most weeks at least once a week - they also had the summer concert series every Friday there-we went to some of those, we worked the Christian Music Day there it was awesome, we went to the weekly summer movie which ofcourse is a tradition for us, LOL, and we went to the galleria and done the other little things that we usually do, but we enjoyed the summer, now it just seems like it flew by, and almost like we didn't do enough stuff, not enough time I guess. I am really proud of my girls they are growing up SO fast and they are amazing girls they really are, I am happy that they are close too.... that is why I am glad that they are back in the same school again... High School.... they have each other if they need each other, their lockers are just a few away from each others even and all their classes aren't even that far apart so they can depend on each other. I truly feel so blessed to have such amazing girls. I love them so much and its wonderful to see them growing into young women before my eyes. I hope they know how proud of them I am!

Well I am so proud- it finally happened a day I have been waiting on for a while now-my daughters worked a show with me a while back now and it was the concert with Shane & Shane, Bethany Dillon and Aaron Shust- well my youngest- she is 13 Tiffany and since she was very little she has wanted to sing- and since the concert she has been considering Bethany Dillon's song "All I Need" so I went as soon as she started talking about it and got the music at the Bible Outlet and our music director at church started working with her here and there and we were hoping she would sing it at one of our youth Sundays which is 2nd Sunday at our church and we have been prepping her for next Sunday- well last night we met a hour before church to work with the mic for the first time and she done really well so Stella (the director) we have been working with, mentioned oh did u want to do it tonight? And ofcourse we have less people on Sunday nights but she said no.. after we set down I asked her I said you know it may be a little easier to do it the first time in front of the smaller crowd like this if u want to she was like no, but she started looking around so I could tell as we were singing she wanted to, so I asked her again was she sure and she asked me would I go over there with her... and a few minutes later she was up there... It was Awesome! She did great! I was so proud of her. Its such a blessing because she has wanted to for so long and I knew she could but she wasn't willing to give in but now she has and its amazing. I am so proud...and now her sister is talking about singing too!

Yesterday was a great day- it was the Christian Music Day @ Alabama Adventures formerly known as Visionland here in the Bessemer, Alabama area- so my entire family went to the event to work- which there really wasn't anything for my girls to do at this one- the just hung out backstage at this event and Me and Chris worked throughout the day- he worked with the stagehands to get the stage ready then brokedown before and after sets and ofcourse helped load in and out then we worked Josh Bates' table and also helped a little with Charity Von's table -she didn't stay very long she had to leave a little while after her set, It was a awesome concert- Zoe Girl was great too- they said there was actually Four Zoe Girl's on the stage if the sonagram is correct- LOL, I think they said she is due in August or something like that, And Superchick was really good as well, I was surprised how many of their songs I had really already heard I knew that I knew a few of them but there were quite a few that I had heard before- Everyone did autographs but Zoe Girl- no problems, the concerts ended at a little after 8 as scheduled and we loaded up and got done at about 10 as the park closed. It was a great day. The artists were awesome. And so nice. I loved working for Josh ofcourse because I had worked so many of the Lifesong Tours this past year so I knew his merch- and he was so much fun. Everyone Loves him and he came out and met with everyone that wanted a autograph or picture. I hope to work with him again. Well now today starts our kickoff of VBS.... and I am sure everyone knows what that means .... a fun filled week of Vocational..Bible..School.. YEAH I am especially excited I love it because I get to take the pictures of all of the cute little kids and the cute.... well crazy big kids too.... yes I am the photographer for my church I enjoy it soooo much, I always end up with nutty pictures.. serious pictures, just everything to be honest its crazy but so much fun I get so much out of it, everthing from JOY to pure Exhaustion so pray for me. Please. LOL Remember this girl had a hip replacement 2 years ago. It's always a rough week for a few of us but always so rewarding. I will be updating. And I'm Off.

Alabama Adventures! Today was a great day- finally got to start the Season passes I had hoped to get for the family-me Chris and the girls, YEAH! Chris took us- he is on vacation this week so we so enjoyed it, I had kept the idea a secret for a few months now and Chris liked the idea and even agreed to pay for it, the girls were dying to know where we were going but I never gave in... this is the place formally known as Visionland so its not too far from home really and it has a waterpark and we got the combo passes so we get the concert events as well- that will be so much fun, it was a great day- there wasnt a ton of people there so that was a big plus it was just enough that you could get around and do whatever you wanted and still let the girls go where they needed to as well, and it also give us the chance to figure out where everything is for our first time that was Awesome, it was really great-I just thought I would post that really quick but I am exhausted. I loved it. Gonna go to bed.. Goodnight.

Wow what a fun day for my Tiffany- She graduated from the 6th grade!!! To High School Next Year!!! We went this morning at 8:30 am for the program at the school- it was alot of fun, all of the kids did really well, it didn't last too long, we were only there until about 10 and then she came home with me, She ofcourse figures since she has "already" graduated she shouldn't have to finish out the rest of the week, LOL So we are going back on Thursday to pick up her report card- I figure its her last year to have it this easy so I guess we will let her by with it. Ofcourse her poor sister has to go the rest of the week, Boo-Hoo That is the High School world- that Tiff can't wait for. But it was a good day- I am very proud of her, and I have to admit I am very happy that my girls will finally be in the same school as of next fall so that will be a blessing as well, just knowing they have each other if they need each there . God has blessed me with two Amazing girls.

Well I feel like I am a WORLD away in BLOG world from where I should be wow what have I not wrote that I should have my goodness.... Ok first of all I have no excuse whatsoever. I always try to post my concert info but I will just update for this month.... May 5th was a really cute day this was a first for me ever, a VEGGIETALES concert, it was so much fun, I spent the whole day there, it was a two show event at The Church At BrookHills in the Birmingham Alabama area, it was so so cute, which ofcourse I fed the cast then I worked the door, worked security, that was a day I just done it all I guess you could say, but inbetween there I did get the opportunity to watch some of the show and I have to tell you those veggies are adorable, and they work their little- veggies off, their fans are so cute, running around with little veggie shirts and hats and all kind off things on it was so cute, I was just in AWW of some of it, they are future Casting Crown- Todd Agnew- Bethany Dillion fans I just know it, LOL and Last weekend on May 13th I worked the Shane & Shane, Bethany Dillion, Aaron Shust concert here in Cullman, Alabama. That was a AWESOME concert we are talking about some great people- some really wonderful artists, they really have their hearts and minds in the right place, And their music is so inspirational I still can't quit listening to it, all I can say is WOW. My girls got to help me out at this one so they really loved this one as well. Its not often that they get to come to an event with all the Rules and all-but this was an event at a bigger church and I was in charge of feeding the artists so they could help me on that, where at the arenas and at the BJCC and at the Huntsville Civic Center the Security is so tight its sometimes so hard, they have worked a Castings at the BJCC but it was so crazy there I didnt think it was really appropriate but they were alot younger then too, it was in 2004, now they are 13 and 15 and I think they know these events as well as me- they were with me on the Gatlinburg event and I didnt let them work because we had tickets and it was such a "Youth" event thing but after we closed up they done as much as I did, they know as much about it as I do know. I am very fortunate to have such amazing girls who are as Strong in the Lord as they are, I know they have been through so much and seen so much for their age with my brain tumor and Courtney's seizures that she went through but we as a family have gotten stronger through it all we have a very strong testimony because of it all, My husband anounced his calling to preach just a year after my tumor was healed by The Grace of God, and it is mentioned from time to time in his preachings, along with my daughters healing as well both of which was told was unlikely by doctors....the doctors here on Earth that is. But we know all to well who our true healer is. Without any doubts. That is why we need to live for him today and Everyday. My youngest daughter is graduating from Elementarty to High School tomorrow- YEAH! I know she is so happy, I am glad they will both be in the same shool from here on out, that is a relief, even though they both have their cell phones they can depend on each other, so that is a good thing as well, they are very close and that I am very proud of too- dont get me wrong they have ALOT of moments, LOL, but who doesnt? God is so Good. He has blessed us in so many ways. I am sorry I havent updated especially on all of the fun concerts in between blogs but I have this month covered now and I will try to update- soon I know we have a Awesome event coming up with a whole lot of great Christian bands at Alabama Adventures infact I will try to post our flyer on here if I can figure out how-let me see if I can. I will try.Yeah I got in in there! Its going to be alot of fun- Josh Bates, Superchick, Charity Von, Zoe Girl, and we are going to have Local Bands- Christian ofcourse all day so if your able to come- Come out and enjoy the day it will be Awesome! June 10th! God bless.

PEACH BOWL-LSU WON-SO MUCH FUN!!!!OK ofcourse me and the girls were totally still recovering from the Xtreme trip but we tried to rest alot on Thursday, we got up early on Friday, Chris had to first thing go to Birmingham and get the tickets they were at the post office in Birmingham and wouldnt be here until Saturday.... technically a day late and that wouldnt work out for us so we cut them off in the path-I called the post office and they told me where they were and that they would be at the Birmingham Post Office by Carraway Hospital at 6 am Friday morning and we could pick them up about a hour after that so they put a hold on them so he drove there to get them-....sure enough they had them just in time for him to get them...YEAH!! It worked out good for us! So we got ready while he was on his way back and we got on the road and wanted to get there in time for FanFest-we got there a little bit after it started I think because we stopped by Krogers on one exit because getting a Kroger card got the girls in free-cant beat that, This was a first for the girls they have never been to a college game at all much less a bowl game which Chris and I didnt think about it till we got there and all but technically this was a first for us on the Bowl level for us too! The girls couldnt believe it when they saw everything inside the FanFest we had shown them the pictures from the SEC conference FanFair and DrPepper party but its not the same as being there it really isnt, the girls both wore their Auburn jerseys that they got for Christmas and alot of people yelled "Go Auburn" or something like that to them while we were there too, we got our picture taken with the Chickfila cow ofcourse, and got lots of coupons, samples and stuff there, they were all over, we ended up eating Papa Johns pizza in the FanFest and walking around it was alot of fun inside there-got some free shirts signed up for some other free stuff as well, it was cool. Played games for more free stuff by Delta and places that were sponsoring the game. It was alot of fun for the girls considering they had never been there- we got beads and ofcourse we got some things to hold up during the game with LSU on it- it was really cool, I think the girls favorite were the little bracelets that say 2005 Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl and on the inside they have the date 12-30-05 they also have BB&T on the inside of them I assume that is one the companies that sponsored the game -there are so many of them, LOL. So we stayed there throughout the pep rallies almost till the very end and then about 6 we headed on toward the dome to find our seats, which were where we actually like them-I guess most people think we are crazy but we enjoy sitting up really close to the top, LOL, When we sit down there was a little cute Chick-fil-a cow with a jersey on him that said "Eat Chicken Watch Pigskin" and had a old time- helmet-on his head its really cute, and ofcourse a little bag in front of our seat with a few coupons for like I think bellsouth or something and a thing you could fold up to make a megaphone to yell out of. It was cool too, Alot of people didnt show up in the upper area, near and beside us so ofcourse our girls got a HERD of cows, lol, which I couldnt complain they got the cows and Chris and I got the coupons that came in with them, lol we can always use them. The game was awesome....Funny thing Miami actually started off with the first score... 3 points.... which I am proud to say was their LAST score..... the game went on to be LSU 40 MIAMI 3, the girls really got into after a while they actually asked questions and it was funny because Tiffany said she realized she said I think at this point I know that if this section over here yells we done something good and if those over there yell that Miami done something good, lol. HEY it worked for her, but she still kept up with the score just the same. And Courtney was able to keep up with it and tell us who was doing good/bad plays pretty much the rest of the game after she got the hang of it as well. Then they put their gold & purple pompoms on their head and wore it as their hair-Tiff had brought a purple hat so it looked really cute on top of the pompoms, for some reason when I took a pic the hat looked blue, but it was still cute. We had a great time at the game and we stayed for the trophy ceromony-I think that was so Tiffany could make sure none of the other cows strayed away from the herd-because we added quite a few during that time-LOL! I think the clean up crew had a much easier job at end of the night all thanks to Tiffany. We left and went to Applebees to eat which was a nice change, we dont go there very often. It was a late night for us getting in, We didnt actually make it home until 4 am but it was a awesome night just the same.

CHRISTMAS WAS AWESOME & XTREME WINTER CONFERENCE ----- SOOO CoooL!
Ok lets see I will try to start out with Christmas which started out Early for us, We spent our Christmas with my In-Laws on the 17th which was alot of fun-the girls so enjoyed that, then we went to my mothers next on Chrismas Eve, again Lots of fun, and My Dads on Christmas night. And as far as when OUR Christmas was we kind of spent part of it over the past few weeks giving the girls a few gifts a little early- so they could enjoy them while they were out during their vacation time-They got alot of Auburn stuff-purses-jerseys-wallets-they got so much stuff, they were thrilled, as always, and a new tv with a dvd player in it, which they needed in their room their old one had kicked the bucket, lol. We were all blessed in abundance. XTREME WINTER DAY 1 What a wonderful event it has been, Ok I dont know what to start with-Its been so much FUN! The time finally got here- me and the girls have been waiting for a while now-The Xtreme Conference in Gatlinburg-3 days of Contemporary Christian Concerts/Speakers while we stay overnight in a hotel during this time with our church, it is great. So the girls and I left out Monday morning we done really good on time actually better than I had even planned we got there a little after 12 I think and so we went to some of the stores there and then we went on to the hotel and called the rest of the group and made sure it was okay to check into the hotel, it wasnt a problem so we went on in and soon after we started cleaning up and getting ready to go to our first session-which was Barlow Girl, David Nasser (speaker) and Newsong. it started at 7:30, after our group got there we decided to walk to the event which was extremely rough on me, I decided to take my meds ahead of time so I could handle it, I did ok considering it was mainly all uphill- The night was great-we all enjoyed it alot, The groups were great and the speaker was very interesting. XTREME WINTER DAY 2 COOL another awesome day... wow where do I begin? Well it started out a little slow we were a little tired from last night- and it started out early- today is a two event day- and they are a hour ahead here- so the first session starts at 10 am with Lincoln Brewster and Johnny Hunt (speaker) they were both really good- it was a really good session, Lincoln Brewster really kept everyone going-he done alot of songs that we all knew so that was helpful. It was great- I saw Ed at the end of the session and he said he might need me tonight to work with Casting Crowns merch table just to check with him-I told him I would be glad to help them out-I had already contacted him and told him I was going to be in the area this week and would help out if he needed me. Afterwards we went walking towards the hotel and we all went our seperate ways- we all wanted to go to Bath & Body Works and some more outlets we all headed there and some other places-We went to Disney too-Oh we Also we to the IHOP which was really good, when we got back to the hotel we went ahead and started getting ready and went on toward the civic center a little early so we would get good seats and incase I needed to work. NIGHT Ok we got in they opened the doors right at 6 pm, We got really good seats, so then I went over and checked in and I was happy to find out Ed needed me-So I got to work-we got in a new hoodie since the last time I worked-so I had to get that one-I got the brown one the last time-this time around I had to get this one-its black-its cute too, I still like the brown one better, I noticed everyone else seems to prefer the brown as well-Its the Original Castings Logo, Guess it will go down in History, LOL. It was cool Tonights concert was just like the concert they have done all year that I have had the opportunity working- The "Lifesong" Tour It was Building 429, Tony Nolan, and Casting Crowns. But tonight Tony didnt speak on his Lifelift bracelet but he was so amazing just the same- he is such a cool speaker-and amazing with a youth group like this, he keeps them on their toes! Hey he keeps me on my toes, he is so interesting. I went out and listened to him during that part. I am glad I did since it was different. I was expecting the Lifelift-but it was even more Awesome than normal. He is so funny. This was a cool night! Ofcourse as Always Casting Crowns and Building 429 were AMAZING!!! Megan still hasn't had the baby- she looks so amazing I know she has to be exhausted up there on stage with that baby due any day now. What a blessing. Hope to hear the news anytime now. XTREME WINTER DAY 3 WEW, day 3, last day or shall I say morning- Ok well this morning we got up and the rest of the group actually told us last night that they had decided that they were not going to go to the concert this morning that they were going to go shopping before they were going on home today but the girls and I decided to go ahead and do the concert-Today was Ergun Caner (speaker) and Toby Mac, it started at 10 am- we got there at about 8:30 to get into line which worked out great- we didnt have to wait in line very long and wasn't too far back, but it was raining while we had to wait so I am so glad we didnt have to wait long we would have been drenched- After we got inside we again got really good seats-This morning was AWESOME -The speaker was a true blessing, I had never heard of him but he was amazing-If you have the chance to see Ergun Caner do take it he was so good-never a dull moment-even just speaking to him afterward was great. Toby Mac was a first for me to hear them- well I say that I had heard them but didnt realize it was "their" music, I guess you could say, LOL alot of their music I loved already and alot of it was just "different" but it was great, after this we decided to go ahead and start walking down the strip and shop a little bit, we went in a few shops, it was a lot of fun, we stopped in the pizza shop we went in back in October with Chris and talked with the guy we met back then, he remembered us, we went ahead and got us a pizza for lunch, took care of that, shopped a little more then we went to our car, After that we went through Pigeon Forge-Ofcourse I did stop and get Tiffany a A&W Hot Dog and RootBeer-wouldnt be a Smokies Trip without it, if it would make it home I would've gotten Chris one, LOL, I am doubting that though. So we headed on, We got home around 7 tonight- Its been a great, exhausting trip, and now Chris has gotten us tickets to the Peach Bowl for day after tomorrow-which the coolest part about that is that the girl have not gotten to with us to any of the games that we have went to so this will be a first for them so we are really looking forward to this, They will enjoy this alot! Thank you God for A Wonderful Christmas and a Great trip as well!

Steven Curtis Chapman/Mercy Me Concert Was Awesome!!Last night was great! Worked the Steven Curtis Chapman/Mercy Me Christmas Tour at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama it was Awesome, I was really surprised My Normal Merch group didnt show up but I got to meet some new folks-not quite as many as normal this tour isnt doing quite as big as a normal tour I dont think I guess its the time of the year-being less than two weeks before Christmas everyone is broke-there wasnt many people at the concert at all but it was a awesome concert-Steven's daughter sung on the stage she was so beautiful, and ofcourse he was great-he puts on a great show! And Mercy Me I cannot even put into words.... they both sang some of their original songs along with their Christmas songs... and I so couldnt wait to hear " I can only imagine" because this the song we played at our 14 yr wedding renewal-so it means so much to us anyway, not to mention its just a awesome song. I worked the Steven Curtis merch, which it being the 4th to the last show of the season we were somewhat limited on our stuff but it still went fairly well for a small show as it turned out to be.... I still missed my regular group for you guys that read this!!! I am sure I will see you guys soon at another event. Merry Christmas to all!

Okay I have to put a little update... I did put up my tree...LOL...Ofcourse it's all MICKEY MOUSE, as always, adorable, every ornament the topper even the tree skirt and I am so proud of every single one! And I am slowly getting all of the girls presents along with everyone elses gifts under there-and rapped ofcourse, lol. Ofcourse tomorrow is Chris's birthday, I am so happy he is able to be off from the crazy world of WalMart which isn't easy this time of year-which I am sure he will still get a zillion calls-seems like when he is off that cell rings non stop-sometimes I wonder....What is the point? but I take it where I can get it... I love spending time with him, and its really odd to get a day during the week, so I look forward to it. Oh I am really excited we found out over the weekend that me and the girl would be going to the Xtreme Conference with the Church in Gatlinburg on the 26th throught the 28th which we had thought we werent going so now we are... it looks like, it will be fun Casting Crowns, Tony Nolan, alot of groups will be there over a three day period, we are looking forward to it, ofcourse Chris cant get out of work as a DM -short notice which I honestly dont know that he is as interested in it as I ofcourse am, its not his kind of thing as it is mine and the girls, I think it will be fun for the entire group-I really look forward for our church hearing Tony Nolans message-I have enjoyed it while working his events with Casting Crowns this year and I think all of the youth should get to experience it. This weekend I get to work the Steven Curtis Chapman/Mercy Me Christmas Tour and I can't wait to hear all their Christmas music live!
Merry Christmas to all

JOEL OSTEEN-SEC CONFERENCE GAME-CHURCH PLAY-WOW WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!
Okay-First off starting off the wonderful weekend I had, and it truly was.. Joel Osteen at the BJCC, I was working the event and for the first time I was able to get my husband to work a event with me, he has always loved watching Joel as well on the television with me so he saw this one as a opportunity-It was AWESOME! You know usually on television we see the 30 minute edited versions, wow its nothing compared to what we seen, it was amazing, which we got there at 3 pm, they had training for us, most of the people there had never done any of this type of thing ofcourse it was very informative, then after we had our tables set up, and found out exactly where our destination would be and got familiar with all the products we had a meal, which was great as well, that was at about 5 pm, doors were opened to the public at 6 pm we had about 6 different tables if not more, with alot of books, cds, it was very informative and people were very nice as well, I loved it, as soon as it started... at 7:30 we were released to go to our seats which we were all thrilled to find were on the floor center right in front of the stage, it was great, The Lakewood Church Choir and Orchestra put on a Outstanding event, words cannot even explain it, Cindy Cruse Ratcliff and Israel Houghton lead them amazingly into the night, Joel stood out beside them during every song it was a blessing, every song even better than the last, Joel's brother Paul came out and asked blessing on the offering- I had never seen him my husband had, I was so amazed how much they looked alike, I had not known the story of how he left his medical profession for his calling as well, but Joel told that story as well, Paul spoke so well, I would love to hear him again. Then Joel told the story of when he walked into a jewelry store to get a watch battery and walked out with a new watch-"note" this is where he met Victoria, LOL, and their first date, it was all so funny how he spoke of it all, then he brought her up on stage, so proudly ofcourse, soon he brought his childten which arent as small as they are in the introduction of the show, and their daughter sung toward the end of the show, it truly was all such a blessing, and ofcourse it wasnt all about his family, It did go on to the message which was amazing in itself, I could go on forever, but I think I have said enough.. I hope by reading this if anything it has encouraged you to go, ofcourse at the end of the night I dont even know the number of people that went the the alter, it was so many, they have hundreds, it truly is a blessing. Ain't God Good?
HOW BOUT THEM DAWGS? Well okay if you know me at all you know I can only handle so much so yes I woke up sooooo tired this morning...but Chris got a call last night while we were going to the Joel Osteen event and one of his best buds came through for him on the SEC Championship tickets, and ofcourse we are talking Georgia Bulldogs, can't miss that, his favorite team, he did go with me last night so I can't complain too much-well my feet do hurt! And we got some tickets for a Dr Pepper party thats right before it-we didnt know alot about it, other than alot of people want to go to it because its got the "open bar" LOL -Not us- the game doesnt start till 6 though, so were off to the game but we leave early because he wants to try to get into a "FanFair" thing too, so we get there as it is opening up too, and funny thing, its like $8 a ticket which was cool we were getting in line to get them a guy walks right up to us and says "Hey Here ya go I got 2 extra tickets I dont need." We said bless you and thanks, It was so nice, so we went in, it was cool - got a free tshirt-got our pics with the chick fil a cows, got lots of little sample things and there was lots of things to do inside there, it was so cool, alot of games and stuff, they sold pictures, lithographs and alot of memorabila there too. Then finally the Dr Pepper party WOW, it was so cool, I could not believe it, I guess it was like a Georgia/LSU Banquet/Pep Rally, it was cool, this was the thing only people with the tickets from the sponsors got in or something like that got in, it was awesome, there were long tables filled with food, BBQ, Hotdogs, Pizza, Wings, Salad, cookies, fudge, brownies, all kinds of goodies, Ofcourse every kind of Dr Pepper available u can imagine, I went for the original, and there was like 5 huge bars, which I went up to and asked for a cup of ice- I think it threw them off-he was like ok what do you want with it- I said " Just Ice," they looked at me kind of funny, I just wanted to pour my Dr Pepper over it, LOL, didnt mean to confuse them, it was sad in a way to see those people get so drunk, I mean from 1 until 6 they were in there drinking- How do they enjoy the game? How did they find the game? It was hard for me to get there and I was sober, lol! Ofcourse some people can handle it and are sensible, but there are just those that tend to mess it up for others. But anyway it was so cool- and about a hour before the game the bands came in seperately and we had pep rallies! That was awesome! Ofcourse we were a little partial to the Georgia, LOL. It was quite a experience we will never forget! Then we made our way to the Game! Our seats were cool-They were up high which was actually cool because nobody was right behind us so that was comfortable for us, we got alot of good pictures too. The Game was great-Georgia Won 34-14!!!! Which is good, it would have been a bad car ride home if they had of lost, lol, Hubby would have been very SAD. So life was good. Again Very Tired.
CHURCH CHRISTMAS PLAY DAY!!! Okay still tired but got up this morning, we missed Sunday school, went straight to morning service, after service we took the girls to eat at Captain D's and went to Walmart, by the time we go done there we had to hurry and get the girls ready and get them back to the church for practice before the play, then we came back to Walmart to shop for Christmas, ran back home to get the camera-which I had charging and we ran back to the play-it started at 6, It was great, they all did so wonderful, I was so proud of our Church, the girls did good, Tiffany had alot of lines, Courtney only had like one so hers wasnt quite as hard but they both did so good. Well that is what my weekend was like.. I am so glad it is over but I can honestly say it truly was a blessed weekend... from beginning to the End.
And now I have to put up my TREE!!!!

Wow another month went by so quickly, you know its so hard, last night was 16 years, the night I miscarried what would have been my first little baby, I still think that would have been that baby boy that Chris wanted, but apparently it wasn't meant to be, God knows what is best and he takes care of things sometimes that he knows we can't. It doesnt make it any easier, and its so odd how the date sticks out so much for me but I have to remind Chris, I know I was only a little ways along, more like two months, but its not any easier, I am blessed with two beautiful girls and I still feel like I have another one waiting one me in Heaven already, my little angel. I would even wonder if we maybe just not quite ready yet, there are so many reasons that always go through my mind its hard I just have to be at peace with it and know that God is in control and that is all I need to know.

Yeah Auburn Won!
YEAH! What a awesome game yesterday, Auburn beat Alabama. So our day was great. Chris wasn't happy, LOL 3 against 1 around here, Me and the girls again Chris, lol, we love it, so funny. So all is well in our world. Chris got a horrible call-one of his manager's sister's was in a horrible car accident near Sumiton the car she was in was hit by a train and she was killed instantly, she has a young child, so keep her family in your prayers. Her name was Crystal. So quickly your life can be taken. I am not sure the age of her child or any more of the details. There was another lady in the car she is in critical condition from what I understand. I will try to update as I can.
God bless

Worked CASTING CROWNS concert last night it was AWESOME!Wow, Last night was cool, if you know me-you know I work alot of the merchandise tables for concerts especially for my favorite bands---Casting Crowns being the best-and I got to go to Huntsville, AL last night to one, it was awesome, Got to meet the bands and even afterwards we hung out with all the guys from Casting Crowns-with the exception of a very pregnant and tired Megan (understandably) as well as Josh Bates and Tony Nolan, they are all so cool and very humble, laid back guys. This was the first time I had the opportunity to listen to Tony Nolan's message myself and it was awesome-anyone who hasn't heard it should try to get the cd-its great. Especially for a youth group like they are going for. Last night was awesome. God has alot of work going on through these men, its such a blessing to see.

All is fine, well I guess except for A little frustrated with my back problems, I apparently have a bulging disk-never had that problem before a few weeks ago-thats a new one for me-I have experienced so much-Brain tumor 5 years ago-that left me with so many health problems-the steroids caused my avascular necrosis leading to the Arthritis so now I have bad bones I had a total hip replacement last year and I still have 3 to 5 major migraines every week so the back thing was kind of a new thing for me, I went down and didnt know what was going on, but it seems to be sticking to me, We had prayer at church, the muscle relaxers have helped alot as well, I got this flu thing that was going around too, but its finally letting up on me, thank goodness. The girls brought home their report cards this week, I am so agravated with my youngest daughter-she is so intelligent but she does so poorly in her grades, and its crazy stuff she messes up on, it drives me crazy because her sister-has problems but cannot help it, she has a learning disability because of the fact that at the age of 3 she used to have 2000+ seizures a day-she is my miracle, she doesnt have the seizures anymore, she was healed by the Grace of God. But the youngest agreed to study the early evening hours instead of watching tv until her grades come up, no computer, video games, etc. Well going to try to find something to make for supper. I think I like this to get some thoughts out. LOL God bless.
